Malygos Quest Druid is fun for me. Try to stay alive until you get the combo! Token Druid is still good - many people play the “ramp” variant with Kaelthas and Mountseller, but you can play it with garden gnome and Anubisath instead - better early game but the ramp version is way better if the game goes longer.
There used to be a trade off when playing aggro: you’d run out of steam if you didn’t kill your opponent fast enough. For DH, they added “draw a card” to every single card in the class, so you no longer have that drawback. Sure, they can nerf some ridiculously overpowered cards to try and mitigate things, but until they take ‘’draw a card” off of everything in the class, look out. Something else to consider: next expansion - nobody will want the cards unless they make the decks better. What could make DH better? If they try to buff other classes to catch up to DH, presumably they will also have to print some garbage for DH that will never be played. I’m guessing DH players can skip the next expansion... or maybe there will be crazy power creep in every class... it will be interesting to see!
Germination is more reliable than Elise - have to wait for all duplicates out of deck, which doesn’t always happen. I usually win with Maly, germination, 2 moonfire, swipe - 36 damage does the trick. Gives flexibility if you need an early swipe to stay alive too. I just run one germination. I ran Ysera for a while because I found it could buy me time if waiting for that last combo piece to appear. I think I may replace it with more card draw or that 3-drop that can freeze an enemy for a turn.
May I make a suggestion? You can add Germination on top of or in place of swipe if you’d like. Sometimes I get a very pesky opponent like priest who stays at 30 health and then gets armor from galakrond. Maly + germination plus 2 moonfire + swipe = 36. If they have a Khartut Defender Wall you can’t get rid of, that can be a problem too... Maly + 2x germination + 2 moonfire = 32 to face, no swipe to pop their defenders for healing. I don’t find myself short of card draw, so I replaced crystal merchant withWorthy Expedition - an extra Starfall, Wrath, Oasis Surger, or even Keeper of the Grove for a silence can be a lifesaver.
Exotic Mountseller orYsera, Unleashed can be helpful to refill the board while waiting to get your combo... but maybe drawing cards faster is better.. ymmv.
I have not been a fan of lackeys/galakrond since that release. First, they only released them to “evil” classes (priest?) and gave an indication that the left-out classes might be getting a hero replacement card too... which obviously never happened. Even if you disliked C’thun, it was available to all classes. It also makes the game boring if you’re playing against it. How many times do you see the rope when waiting for a galakrond rogue to finish playing their 12 cards per turn?
They just need to remove the whole ridiculous gala shit in the first place, its tedious and unbalanced
Agreed. Galakrond should have been one of a number of options. Instead, it’s too strong so that’s all you face. C’thun was strong in its day but it wasn’t so dominant that you never saw somebody play something else. I have yet to play a rogue in months that was NOT playing Galakrond.
Rogue is not the problem. One more thing, it's easy to counter Heistbaron Togwaggle, just remove the lackeys before turn 6. I have to show you the thread of salt for you to understand. The rogue identity has always been tempo, eventually there will be stronger decks that will destroy rogue in future expansions, don't complain.
Um - lackeys only cost 1. They can just wait until next turn to play him. They’re not gonna lose because they have to wait 1 turn to play him. Heck, a lot of the best rogue players try to control the board and press without him so they can save him for mid-to-late game.
I get it - but wrath for Druid does 3 damage for 2 mana. Shadow bolt for warlock does 4 damage for 3 mana. I don’t think that card is the issue. The deck is good because it has infinite lackey generation, multiple 0-cost cards per game, minion-based removal (to target minions that can’t be hit by spells) such as flik and the new 1-drop sap-on-a-stick, etc. The only reason it briefly dropped off the radar is because DH was stupidly broken when the new set came out.
The other day my opponent had a big board, so I dropped doomsayer and then zephyrs. I assumed he would give me frost nova since I still had 5 mana left. It didn’t! I think it gave me a couple of other options, none of which completely cleared the opposing board like that would have. Maybe I said my wish out loud so it didn’t come true? Frost nova definitely would’ve won me that game....
Rez priest can be pretty annoying to play against. The thing is, it’s not a top-tier deck. If it was, you might see that it can be countered through minions that give “gifts” to the opponent. Terrorguard Escapee and Zul’Drak Ritualist come to mind...
aren't they like, gonna nerf the 1 mana 2/2 that scales?
What’s so bad about that? It’s just like micro machine... oh wait, that started 1/2, and it cost 2... but it did grow twice as fast and didn’t require you to attack... yeah having it as a 1-drop is absurd you’re right.
Yes we know you are a hearthstone genius and everybody else is terrible. The DH win rate well-documented by hsreplay and other trackers is a figment of our imagination. Enjoy your legend status and winning 90% of all your games!

I will try it from your list - mine was doing well but aggro is brutal in d5 and up... yours has a couple more 2-drops.

Face hunter. If making legend is your top priority, just play the broken class DeMon hUntEr.

They will over-nerf everything like they did with Shaman last year. It went from dominant to trash tier immediately.
