made it to 5 last weekend & theres a lot more secret nzoth pally around. can totally still make it to rank 5, just have to be a little more greedy & aggro

I've been playing ESL for a little bit now, too, however you need to understand that the only reason you like it so much right now is that it's very new. Eventually, if it lasts as long it will certainly suffer the same sort of problems you're having with hearthstone. Keep in mind hearthstone was once new and exciting, too.

Patron warrior, believe it or not, was actually somewhat healthy for the COMPETITIVE aspect of the game. 

I think it comes to playstyles; if u really like control the n'zoth deck is better but for tempo/quickness this one wins. personally I think the n'zoth is better at the lower ranks right now because the meta is pretty much the same as it was last season (mostly just aggro)

No, as it turns out 2 circle combo + excavated + one lightbomb is just the perfect balance to beat the aggro decks. Not to mention the deathlord's, which usually will stop any aggro in its tracks anyway.

This deck is specifically teched against aggro because that's about 70-80% of what I faced on ladder, however against control decks I have two Entomb and N'Zoth which, as it turns out, is really all I needed to out-value any control decks I faced. A super greedy control deck could potentially out-value this one but if someone runs greedy control they'll get overrun by aggro.

And 13 spells really isn't enough to make them a handicap as most of them are either single target removal (pain, death, entomb) or AoE (lightbomb, circle).

Disenchanting Wild cards is definitely a mistake, it's honestly really really fun and will only get better as more sets come out.

Priest is in a bad spot in Standard.
