Restrictive? How is getting info on 2 cards they run in their deck and taking a copy of the third restrictive? Imagine if you're playing against a rogue, seems normal miracle, Swashburglar turn 1 Undercity Huckster all that good stuff but then out comes the Drakonid OP and you find Malygos in his deck. You can change your playstyle completely in this match-up whether or not you pick the Malygos.
And besides, if you're not holding 2 dragons by turn 5 you really have mulligan'd horribly, you should always have at least 1 dragon in your opening hand for synergies, even if it's Ysera
you understand "restrictive" as you have to build your whole deck around it (dragon priest)
"Very fair" seems like an exaggeration. 5/6 is pushed baseline. You'll note that only one neutral exists with those stats and it's completely vanilla - it doesn't even have a positive typing like Spider Tank (a comparable vanilla 3 drop). Drawing a card as a battlecry is fairly expensive on a body - Novice Engineer and Gnomish Inventor both sacrifice 3 points of stats versus the "baseline" option, and Azure Drake does as well, but with the relatively minor bonuses of Spell Damage and relevant typing on top of that. which means it's already fairly pushed.
what a shitty comparison tho. Class cards already gets more stats-point than Neutral cards (in other words: they HAVE to be better), and the Drakonid has a very restrictive ability. The card is balanced, your huge wall-of-bullshit-text won't change that.
Edit: And what the actual fuck, "the the drawback of having to hold a dragon" are you kidding me? Thats the whole point of making the ability superior (being restrictive)
at first I only read the first pharagraph of the wallofbullshit and already thought it was ridiculous, then I read everything and now I.... I am just sad, do people go this far down the absurd-road?
Whoever made the options for this thread doesn't even understand the reasons behind the hate towards yogg saron:
its not balance or being a cool or a bad card or anything like it - its because it screws competitive hearthstone - there can not be competitive hearthstone with a card such as yogg saron existing, its a fact and all pros acknowledged to that already.
If imp is "generally wrong" on turn 1 it pretty much agrees to my initial point of having a less flexible turn 1. By having these discard mechanic cards in the deck you lose out in the consistency of POs, Forbidden Rituals, and Argent Squires, as well as with the addition of buff cards being slightly worse as well due to missing out on these expendable cards.
Now you are just being silly. Imp is added as a 2-of in the deck while Argent Squire was almost always a 1-of at best. Also, Forbidden ritual isn't good enough even pre-Karazhan metagame because of how easily it gets countered by Ravaging Ghoul, a card played as a 2-of in every single warrior deck, while Warrior was the most played deck in the ladder. Now it gets even worse with the addition of the Shaman portal to the decks to a point if you play Forbidden Ritual, you're likely playing wrong.
Also, Soulfire bypasses taunt and doesn't require a minion on board, so everything you're doing is getting your deck more consistent, totally going the other way around of what you said.
TL;DR - everything you said and think could be wrong
the imp makes up for the discard, turning them into an advantage even without the golem. so you can either imp + discard (same turn) or you can discard with golem in hand. youre probably not doing it like this (lilke playing malch imp on turn 1 is generally wrong)

I like how you are calling for a nerf on a card that is part of one of the worst decks in this expansion thus far.
its like calling for priest nerf two months ago, super stupid.
This thread is so dumb I think OP should be banned from these forums.

This is probably NOT cabal faction. Cabal Faction card would have the cabal symbol, no?

SNIPING CONTROL WARRIOR

LOL that's the best comment I've read in hearthpwn this year
deserves a front page award fosho

Kobold Geomancer is not the right replacement for Thalnos. You're better off using a tech card like Mana Tide Totem, second Argent Squire, second Lightning Storm or even a copy of Flamewreathed Faceless.
