Oh look at that, somebody mentioning Cabal Shadow Priest under a card with 2 attack. Never seen that before.

AngelGabrielUK posted a message on Witchwood Expansion feels really.....mehPosted in: General DiscussionI dont know what you guys think, but I am feeling really underwhelmed by this expansion....I know we haven't had all the cards released as yet, and there may well be (a lot?) more stuff to announce and come, but so far everything feels just really vanilla and a bit like Blizzard are running out of ideas.
Past expansions and adventures have all had something really different to get curious, if not excited by - but the introduction of Rush and Echo just seem to be slightly different versions of mechanics already in the game (charge and repeat effects). The whole odd/even deck structure feels very forced and not truly thought through - I know he isn't everyone's cup of tea but I very much agreed with Kripparian's review of this - and I feel that the cards are getting ever more juvenile and cartoony rather than how everything started out, which was much more adult and somehow a bit more intense.
I love Hearthstone - I'm not the worlds best player but that's fine - I get where I can and I get plenty out of it - for now. But normally I really look forward to expansions and feel that they bring new aspects and dynamics to what is already an excellent game - with game being the operative word. But this just isn't getting any flames flickering.....and when you consider what is being lost from the Standard version of the game, what is being offered as a replacement I don't really see as giving much onward enjoyment or longevity for long standing players.....does anyone agree?
If you don't....no need for flaming.....just expressing my own POV!

Faster changes than usual, and by "than usual" I mean not desperately slow as it normally comes.
In all honesty, I'll just log in and dust the nerfed cards - Then proceed to not play Hearthstone. The game's core design was already damaged to a point of no return, you can bet whatever you want that the metagame will just find its next big stale point within days of the nerfs. That combined with Blizzard's ineptitude in making changes to the game like tournament UI, better MMR, real ladder fixes (not this bandaid they did, that will need change later anyway) and all these other simple things that are obvious to every player in the entire world except for the people ahead of Hearthstone are the reason I have not touched Hearthstone for months and will continue not to.
I'll just continue to play MTG:Arena while I wait for Artifact.

guys stop talking "rush warrior" please, all this need is one or two good rush cards to be played 2-of in every single warrior build, literally.
its a free 1/2 in so many cases, you don't even need a fully dedicated deck for it. You can play 2 copies of this and 2 rush dudes and call it a day, its almost too good.
I'll call this Reverse-Patches

this is pretty shit for a 7-mana legendary card, even when you get it to work its still only "meh"

Had to log in just to say this: Inner fire combo isn't good by itself, there are times where its "ok" but then it immediatly becomes bad again as people starts playing around it. What makes it good are cards from other expansions, like the 2/3 sorc apprentice that priest has right now
in general I think the entirety of classic should eventually rotate out and a few cards from other expansions should make a comeback, but since that isn't happening I see no problem with Inner fire combo staying in the game.

Not playable.
It's not worth it to discuss "sometimes-might-maybe-happen" scenarios in which this card is "ok" and not just terrible, this happens very often in both here and reddit.

Since the release of KFT I have been having ferocious discussions with some friends of mine regarding the card I believe to be the most long-time overrated card in history of Hearthstone: The Lich King.
Basically I have been saying that the card is not as good as people think, and that eventually everyone was going to drop using it on their decks in favor of actual playable cards, but I was constantly being talked back by my friends saying that I was completely wrong and that it was seeing play.
As the HCT tournament and lists got revealed, everyone (but me) was surprised The Lich King isn't being run in even the most controllish and greedy of the decks.
While I admit TLK is indeed a finisher, those exist in Hearthstone in abundancy, and there are just way too many cards that are better than TLK. So, while you can use it in your deck since saying it "sucks" is just me exagerating it is no where near as good as many people made it out to be or still do.
