Awesome find! I recently discovered that some of the cards somehow seem to resemble characters from a game named world of warcraft.

What about both? You are a member of one side and sometimes show yourself in your opponents' disguise?

Step one: play a super bad priest deck. Put Chameleos in it.
Step 2: mulligan for Chameleos. If you have it, it can change to opponents swap spell.
Step 3: When Chaemelos turns into their swap spell, you can play two swap spells. The first one destroys their spell. You have now forced them to play your super bad deck and they cant do anything about it.
Pretty sweet!

Is there a way to get the art of the Tavern without the text? I loved it and wanted to save it.

Typical conversation in Bli$$ard headquarters...
Developer 1: So, we eat money, drink money, take bath with money... but that's not enough! We somehow need to begin to shit with money. How should we do that?
Developer 2: Hmm... I think, I have an idea! The last 2 expansions we made in Hearthstone didn't affect the meta. The meta is stable, players have crafted all the legendaries they need to play with meta decks. Let's nerf them!!! The decks, not the legendaries!
Developer 1: I don't get it! How would we make money out of it?
Developer 2: Easy-pizzy! We nerf Leeching poison, but not Kingsbane, Saronite Chaingang, but not Shudderwock or Grumble, Level up, but not Baku, Wild Growth and Nourish, but not Hadronox, Ultimate infestation, sir Oakheart, Floop, Malygos, ToggleWoggle or Hakkar. Our Bli$$ard boys have spent their money and dust on that legendaries, but now they are off meta! LOL! So now they have to buy more packs to craft new legendaries for the new meta!
Developer 1: Wow! That's really cool. Now we will definitely shit with money! I love it! But are you sure, that players will actually buy more packs and give us their money once more, in 2 weeks after the expansion has launched. They have already given us plenty for Rastakhans Rumble preorders.
Developer 2: Of course I am! They bought 80-bucks Mecha Jarraxxus skin and 50-bucks King Rastakhan skin. They will throw their money to us in monitor once more! They are so nice!
Developer 1: So, how should we, actually, do it?
Developer 2: I think we shouldn't tell them, that any changes will take place until the very last moment.
Developer 1: But why?
Developer 2: So they will think that we, once again, will be lazy as fuck and won't nerf anything for a couple of months after the new expansion. Boys, who still didn't craft meta legendaries and epics, will craft them, and loose their dust, because they didn't know about the nerfs! LOL!
Developer 1: You're a genius! Let's do it! For the GREED!
Typical opinions on Hearthpwn's forum...
Bli$$ard boy 1: You just don't get it! They are changing the meta to make the game healthy!
Bli$$ard boy 2: If you don't like the game, then what are you doing in this forum? Just don't play it and write nothing here cause it insults me to read your whines!
Bli$$ard boy 3: How is it that the game is rigged? The adjustments of % of appearance of cards in the Arena don't tell me that they do it in constructed. I don't believe you. Just give me statistics of 10000 games and only then I will consider your opinion.
Bli$$ard boy 4: Blizzard price policy is good. Companies exist to make money. Blizzard is making money. Just change your job and stop being poor! LOL!

I've got over 10k hours logged into Hearthstone, and started to question if I did ANYTHING else, how good at it I'd be? I think there is a fine line doing something that entertains you for a reasonable amount of time and then straight up addiction.
The game is enjoyable to a point. There are a lot of design decisions that I question and overall the expansions have slowly become very boring and stagnant. There isn't much new added to the game from a competitive standpoint that I enjoy. (Brawls arent fun to me, and arenas got very stale after switching to standard only imo). They haven't added anything that has hooked me and as much as I hate to say it, the game is just boring now. There is nothing strikingly new about the gameplay since I've played in the beta PVP wise. Not to mention with the rate they push out cards now, this "hobby" has become extremely expensive.
I have been around the block and am not approaching with an uninformed position on any of this. I've made seasonal playoffs a few times, placed top 5 a few months, won a few tournaments, took home around ~$1k total which is probably what I've spent on the game anyway. Those were fun, and a cool experience, but I'm really regretting the time I've spent in this game as I've never won a playoff, and don't see myself putting in hundreds of more hours to try. Of course RNG is frustrating but I can't cry too much about that because its a card game after all.
How do you all balance playing a game like hearthstone with your lives? I have a job, a girlfriend, a house, but sometimes I put things that I shouldn't first. Also, does anyone else feel the way I do about this game getting extremely stale? I could be alone in this sentiment, and I'm sure I'll get some pretty negative responses but I just wanted to ask. It's been about a month since I've played, haven't touched the new expansion, first time in ALL of the expansions I haven't preordered. Whats wrong with me?

This card isn't as bad as people are making it out to be and i'll explain why. (disclaimer: this is under the assumption that the slime has taunt. If the slime doesn't have taunt, then this card is as bad as people are making it out to be.)
First off, the obvious comparison to this is sludge belcher. Sludge belcher costs 1 more and gets +1 +1 ( adding the 1 attack to the slime) which is a standard increase for 1 mana. Now, sludge belcher was the go to taunt, but belcher wasn't actually that great vs agro as people make it out to be. Most face decks run 2 silences, and when belcher gets silenced it's no better than a sen jin shieldmasta, which is MUCH better vs face. Sen Jin is better vs agro because 1. you get it out a turn earlier which is huge because turn 3 is when the face deck should have the board and they start hitting their heavy damage the turn after. If you just had belcher, you'd take like 8-10 extra damage. And once they do kill your belcher, since theyre aggressive, theyre more than likely to have multiple minions, and ones that will not die to 1 single damage and have 2 attack, so in an agro vs control situation, the agro deck is very likely to damage efficiently remove the belcher. So shieldmasta is better in that situation. The tauren might not be that great because the 2 attack isn't threatening enough and the 3 hp doesnt block much, but it's still better than belcher because you can get it out faster.
However, sludge belcher is much better than shieldmasta vs control decks, because it will always block 2 attacks and is very likely to have overkill, because it defends against big minions. The tauren does the same thing, and the hp is irrelevant because it will be tanking big minions, so it's a buff to sludge belcher, it just loses out on the 1 attack, but it gains the 1 attack on the spawn.
In a nutshell, don't judge the card just yet, it's not bad at all. (again, this is implying that the slime has taunt lol)

Really awful card lol. Warlock needs more bad cards though. When blizzard gives warlock even 1 good card like dark peddler, it becomes broken as hell and a 2 of in every deck. Warlock is such a badly designed class that it's really difficult for them to print any card without it being really bad or really broken. It's waaaaay better for the metagame to see them make bad cards though, so keep em coming!

This card isn't even that great vs secret paladin. You get a big dude and you kill his secrets, but the only reason why the secrets are good in the first place is because they protect the challenger so hes almost guaranteed to attack the turn after. The challenger also draws 5 cards and is a 6 6. The main reason why secret paladin is so OP is that it allows you to play a deck that has an extremely high amount of 1 drops that let you put on early pressure and curve out really nicely, then at the stage in the game where 1 drops no longer have value, you don't have to worry about drawing them, and you can topdeck dr boom and tirion. That's how the deck works, so if youre not killing the challenger turn 7, then youre in bad shape anyway. Big game hunter is actually better than this vs the challenger because it removes 10 damage from the board (the 6 6 with avenge and competitive spirit) the secret eater only removes 6 damage. (the avenge, the competitive spirit, and the noble sacrifice (which gets redemptioned)).
However, eater of secrets really punishes control mage and control hunter decks. Both are decks people actually enjoy playing and seeing. If youre playing a deck with a lot of secrets like a duplicate mage, then they play secret eater, you lose the game. period. And you lose in a very uninteractive and un-fun way. Ive played games before with the cool discover duplicate mage where i had duplicate, ice block, and another secret i got from scarab, and was having interesting and fun games and then a hunter plays flare and the game instantly becomes un-fun, and you lose an extreme amount of tempo and value from that point. Theres literally 0 reason to play around flare or kezan mystic because 1. the cards are rare, and 2. even if you knew for a fact that they had those cards in hand, theres no good way to play around them. Youre going to get completely screwed no matter what because your opponent's going to get extreme tempo/value no matter what other cards he has in hand.
Cards like this should not exist in the game because they are too punishing of something that should not have a punishment. Secrets in the case of hunter and mage are part of the class's design. If you knew off the top that your opponent was going to play that card before you even made your deck, you would have to not include secrets in your deck and both mage and hunter are pretty much REQUIRED to run at least 1 secret. Without secrets, hunter gets completely overrun by agro decks and out valued by decks that play 1 big minion every turn. So basically, if everyone played this card, those 2 classes would be unplayable. BAD CARD DESIGN.

I love the art and the fact that this is some rare rep from Mists of Pandaria! Unfortunately, you heard it here folks. The ONLY C'thun deck is going to be a version of herp derp handlock. Blizzard had to go and get rid of all the fun synergy cards for the cthun decks like duplicate and echo of medivh, so you won't be seeing them in mage, which would've been really cool and fun. Instead, theyre just going to be part of good ol' boring as hell handlock that didnt lose a single card from the standard switch. These cards won't be good for the same reason feugen and stalagg aren't good. It's because you need to draw through your deck really fast, which warlock is really broken at doing because theres literally no drawback for them to do it, and they don't have to waste card slots on card draw cards. Prepare to make "cool" C'thun decks with other classes like druid, then lose to a tier 1 version of handlock that does the same thing whilst making it as unfun and uninteresting as possible.

i got that vs a mech mage that dumped his hand turn 3 and had the stupid double mechwarper BS opener. I haven't laughed so much in a long time

please don't tell me that were just going to get "corrupted" forms of the other vanilla legendaries as the legendaries for this one. God that would be awful.

every single mage and hunter deck runs at least 1 secret. When you're playing a strat with a lot of secrets, and you get Kezan mystic'd, it's the dumbest feeling ever. Theres no strategy involved with that, you should never ever play around that card because it's rarely ever used, and when it goes off, you pretty much lost. You not only lost at least 3 mana and a card, and your opponent gets a 3 drop (or 2 drop) in play and a 4 3 IMMEDIATELY. And in this card's case, you lose at least 2 cards or more instead of 1 and your opponent gets a 3 5 or a 4 6, for 4 mana. Like I said, there is 0 reason to play around these cards and you shouldn't have to. It's the same as if there was a card that was like "4 mana, if your opponent's a warrior, deal 10 damage to them and summon a 4 4" and that's way less punishing than what this or kezan mystic does.
