    fatigue game

Won't Jaina outheal you? your lifesteal zombeasts probably attack once every two turns due to frost effect.

You've all been in this situation before, you're chilling as DS Rexxar, stitching beast left and right but FL Jaina keeps making elementals and freezing you/your board. In this scenario, assuming you don't run kill commands, what would be your win condition? How would you burst the opponent? Any particularly useful beasts? Or do you play the fatigue game?

posted a message on Do you think all these hunter archetypes are here to stay until april rotation?
    Quote from lite0 >>

Spell hunter is probably here to stay.  It was already a pretty solid tier 2 deck, now it's a really good tier 2 deck.  The meta will might shape in a way that pushes it out, but then after it changes again spell hunter will find it's way back in.

Deathrattle hunter was arguably the best deck in the game during boomsday and I doubt that will change.

Secret hunter will see play in aggro metas.

DR hunter and spell hunter use mostly different cards.  unless they nerf Rexxar, which doesn't seem likely, hunter will probably be the top class (it arguably was during boomsday).

As far as crafting, I'd say Rexxar and Zul'jin are very safe crafts.  Rexxar obviously rotates next expansion but it's also the best card in the game.  This is the last chance to play it in standard.  Zul'jin will be around in many hunter decks to come for a long time and worst case scenario it gets nerfed and you have the option to get your dust back.

What about Recruit Hunter? How would you compare it to the deathrattle variant?

I don't think that spell hunter is truly that strong, many decks, notably control warlock, can pound it into the ground and fare well against other aggro decks. Another deck that  (not from experience)  seems to be able to destroy spell hunters is odd paladin. I really think its just the hype around Zul'jin being ridiculously powerful, I suggest waiting a bit for the meta to settle.

Does recruit hunter have any major counters? Besides terrible draw and Odd Paladin.

Unless some nerfs are in order, it doesn't seem like Hunter, both the spell and the deathrattle/recruit type will stop being top tier decks. (it is too early to talk about tiers yeah but especially deathrattle variant has been going strong since boomsday)

Do you think hunter is a safe class to invest dust in right now? (mainly cards like deathstalker rexxar/zuljin)

posted a message on Do you think Odd Paladin will survive the Rastakhan?

First of all, if overkill becomes viable, it will be most problematic for decks like Odd Paladin: ones with multiple low attack/health minions.

Then there's the anti-aggro tech card  Rabble Bouncer , again thriving on the enemy having multiple small minions. If Odd Pala maintains its popularity, most people will probably tech in this neutral as well.

And lastly, Odd Paladin didn't really get strong card options this expansion.  Bloodclaw might see some play but it's a joke compared to KnC powerhouse cards like Corridor Creeper or Level Up! .

So what do you think? Do you see Odd Pala maintaining its notorious t1 aggro status after the dust settles down and meta takes its shape?

posted a message on What are your thoughts on KoFT (or more specifically, the set's hero cards) rotating in April 2019?

Personally infinite value generators have never been a good thing, some hero cards like jaina or rexxar killed fatigue, which was already at deathbed.

Hero cards offering a new way to build decks and/or a win condition through deckbuilding: fine

Hero cards that generate infinite value each turn where you lose only to combo the moment you play them: kinda oppressive in counterplays

So what are the safest options for giggling inventors now? Blood Knights are relatively easier to replace with things like marsh drake or blink fox, but can't seem to fit in proper replacements for giggling inventors.

    How about

    Silent Infiltrator

    3 Mana 3/3
Silence a Minion with the highest cost in your opponents hand.

     A milder version:

    3 Mana 3/3

Battlecry: Each player shuffles the highest cost minion to their deck.

It must be a bug, when the player hovers over the cards the keywords aren't shown. Though I hope they fix it the other way around and let your minions keep magnetized buffs in hand.

Actually, when he hovers over the card, the keywords are shown (on the right side of the magnetized egg-card at 25:58). Which is why I assume they incorporate the keywords into the card while the stats are merely a buff.

It probably doesn't actually show the keywords when the wargear was in opponent's hand, though. There is no way to know of this interaction/bug without experiencing yourself (don't even get me started on keywords working but extra stats from zilliax getting lost). Pretty sloppy implementation if this is intended.

This is probably a bug, should be Mechano Egg with +5/+5 stats

Pretty huge if it's really a bug. You could say it cost the player in video the game.

posted a message on Can someone tell me if this magnetize->sap interaction is working as intended?

First turn: Your opponent plays Wargear (5/5), then magnetizes it with Zilliax (3/2 rush, taunt, lifesteal etc), resulting in a 8/7 Wargear with all the Zilliax keywords.

You sap the aforementioned minion back to opponent's hand.

Second turn: Opponent plays Mechano-Egg (0/5 with deathrattle: 8/8 mech dragon), and magnetizes it with the Wargear that was sapped the previous turn.

What do you think happens next?

Result A: 5/10 Mechano-Egg with only its deathrattle effect.

Result B: 5/10 Mechano-Egg with all the keywords of Zilliax (rush, taunt, lifesteal, shield) in addition to its original deathrattle effect.

Result C: 8/12 Mechano-Egg with all the keywords of Zilliax (rush, taunt, lifesteal, shield) in addition to its original deathrattle effect.

From what I can tell, it should be result A, since minions returning from battlefield to hand lose their enchantments, right? If not, result C makes the most sense since all the stats and keywords are retained somehow.

But no, it's actually result B! Meaning, the minion does not get the extra stats from Zilliax, but it actually gets the keywords!

Is this a bug or am I missing something here? You can watch this exact scenario happen here , at 24:40

posted a message on Is it too much to ask for a neutral combo disruption tool?
    Quote from BR0M1903 >>

If you are not killing your opponent next turn what does that delay accomplishes?

What makes you think that you're never killing your opponent the next turn? This type of tool requires you have the skill to set up lethal and guess the right time to disrupt their combo, as opposed to playing a card that removes a combo piece at any stage of the game.
