Even without Twisting Nether and Demonwrath I was able to easily beat Thaddius in heroic mode.  I replaced them with [card]Sylvanas Windrunner[/card], Prince Malchezaar, and The Black Knight but other then two bad Legendaries given to me by the Prince they didn't effect my win (other then resulting in drawing the bad Legendaries).

Having guides like this for those of us who have the first wing of the adventure and are working our way through getting the 700 gold for each of the remaining wings and want the card back this but don't want to get a lot of old card this is a great help.

With Gluttonous Ooze now in the game this lost what little relevance it had.

All the more reason to go back and fix the wording.  Especially as the coming Awaken the Makers card will give your hero have a base line of 40 health if you can pull off its quest and put Amara, Warden of Hope on the board.  Unless Blizzard fixes the wording they are going to get a lot of flak if Molten Giant isn't free at 15 Health (40-25)

Not only that but the wishes give you access to a lot other cards that didn't exist when the adventure was created.

Thanks, you summed it up pretty nicely. I just can't believe Blizz left unfixed such inaccurate  wording. It is greatly misleading.

It is even more misleading when you consider Frothing Berserker ("Whenever a minion takes damage, gain +1 Attack." ) does not lose its attack when the damaged minion is healed.  By the brain dead logic presented in that Beta Forum post Frothing Berserker should lose its bonus attack when the damaged minion is healed.
Fun fact, it has come out that the German version of the card says:
Kostet (1) weniger für jeden Lebenspunkt, der Eurem Helden fehlt.
    which translated reads
Costs (1) less for every health point missing from your hero.
Why Blizzard can't fix the English text is beyond me.

The text is in serious need of a rewrite.  Based on the fact Frothing Berserker bonus ("Whenever a minion takes damage, gain +1 Attack." is not negated when the damaged minion is healed shows the text on the Molten Giant card (or) mechanic is broken.
