    Quote from BMT3601 >>

For standard players, these nerfs are more than enough. We’re possibly in the midst of the most balanced metas, but I think it’s one of the more boring standard metas ever.

"Balance" consists of way more than just class involvement.  In fact, I actually think that it's far more important that different deck types are represented.  How many good control decks are there right now?  How many good aggro decks?  It's NOT EVEN CLOSE to being balanced, imo.

Well, as always, I craft a deck, and it gets nerfed within a matter of days. RIP Darkglare Warlock. Was a cool deck while it lasted.

It is ok, you just do not kill me turn four, but turn seven

HUGE difference between turn 4 and turn 7.  Control decks that make it to turn 7 will usually win.

Surprised how quickly Darkglare got nerfed seeing as it's only just started competing amongst the big boys. Willow I guess is buffed in being able to play it a turn earlier but 2/2 stat change is quite harsh. I have it golden so thats insta DE lucky me!!

Nice to see passage nerf, Shaman needs more buffs obviously and druid needs to be looked at, amazed they've left it honestly. If any class was dominating as hard as shaman is statistically suffering it would get changed much quicker, just get on with it already.

Darkglare was completely out of control in Wild.

So hilarious.  A deck comes along that you DO actually have to think about to play successfully, and what do the losers on HS have to say about it??  That it's "brain-dead".  Get a life OP.  Just because you play paint-by-numbers decks and can't understand how another deck works doesn't mean it's "brain-dead".  Because it is literally the exact opposite of that.

i don’t want to disappoint you, but to climb from Bronze to Platin 7 you could use any random deck out there.

I don't want to disappoint YOU, but there ARE people that play at those ranks.  Stop being a HS snob that thinks EVERYONE plays for Legend every single month.

posted a message on Lorekeeper Polkelt bug?

Deck is always reshuffled when a card is shuffled into the deck.  Polkelt reorders only when he is played.  He doesn't change one of the game's essential mechanics, lol.  If you want to keep that order, don't reshuffle anything into your deck.  It's not a bug, and won't be "fixed".

It's not funny.  It's completely played out.  And it's entirely unnecessary.  Also, I wouldn't have replied at all apart from the fact that he said he "didn't want to be that guy"...yet...there he was....being "that guy".  It WAS a d*ck move.  Hardly an "overreaction".

Everybody knows it's much easier to get to Legend these days.  It's a fact.  Do we need to be reminded of that on a thread like this?  I really don't think so.

    But it's just a game. :/

Yes, it is.  So why sh*t on someone's accomplishment?  The OP was obviously proud of the accomplishment...what EXACTLY is the point of posting what hillandder posted?  Even in the name of "it's a joke" (which imo, it was not)...it's just lame.

    Anyway...I'm done hijacking the thread.

    Hit legend before:

    Hit legend now:

Ummmm...you ARE that guy.  And you spent time looking for and uploading pictures to illustrate your entirely negative and entirely unneeded post.  CONGRATS ON BEING THAT GUY.  D*ck.

I think hillandder post is funny and, at the same time, I congratulate Danjo for his achievement. No reason to overreact, dude, life is too short to take it seriously. ;)

Nice job! I have been playing since 2014, and never hit higher than D4 (Rank 5 under the old system). My son calls D5 'Dad Legend', which is not far from the truth :)

Rank 5 has been called "dad legend" forever.

posted a message on How did the new expansion affect the Meta in Wild?
    Quote from parzival2345 >>

Well to catch this thread up to speed, a few (4?) days ago people started realizing darkglare warlock is extremely extremely powerful. Since then, high legend has been pretty much exclusively darkglare, DMH, and reno priest.

Why? Because darkglare has established itself as the deck to beat, and reno priest and DMH are the decks to beat it with.

And yes, before someone starts telling me "but darkglare beats priest, I have X winrate against it," priest certainly isn't a hard counter.

The prevalence of darkglare has people trying secret mage again, although I have my doubts as to if secret mage will stick around.

Anyway, darkglare is really good, and the deck just keeps getting better. And if you're looking to netdeck, make sure you're getting a list posted TODAY. There has been so much refinement over the past few days that a list from say 3 days ago is pretty trash.

Yes...encourage people to play the latest and greatest CANCER deck.  Nice job.

I'm not sure where you people are playing, but in ranks 1-5 just before Legend, it's 75% Giants Warlock cancer.
