5 mana 3/3, Battlecry: Summon two random minions and destroy two random enemy minions.
If this was a card (which it kinda is now) it would be potentially the best minion in the game.
The thing about not over playing your board the same way you do against something like brawl is that 1. Brawl punishes both sides 2. Decks that expectedly clear boards arnt typically creating threatening ones you need to match 3. MCT doesn’t just deplete your resources, it gives fuel to the opponent.
The board swing potential of the card is absurd, and what makes it feel even worse is the rng.
The deck is difficult to out value, so in many cases you can’t sit there on three minions waiting for some perfect moment, or you’ll be dead to 14+ face damage from hand.
Conjurerers: is probably reasonable. Kinda a bummer it can’t be discovered with Magic Trick, so that’s a secondary nerf.
LPG: 7 could very well be over kill, it was never played before the buff because, unsurprisingly it’s difficult to spend a whole turn of seven mana and not just lose. They didn’t want to try it at 6 because then they would have to give you dust again if they had to nerf it finally to 7.
Boom: not bad, similar to LPG, it makes it difficult to find turns to play the card. Though warrior has better tools to stay alive and at least you get some armor.
Arms: Priest already has possibly the beat one drop in the game, probably the don’t deserve anything to make it even better.
Barnes: I don’t play wild so my opinion is weak, but I guess that some decks are so fast in wild that the delay of one more turn dropping Barnes makes the difference in winning or losing.
Just watched a Masters Tour game decided by YogBox.
Blizzard is addicted to RNG. Discover a spell. Discover a Mage minion. Discover a Taunt minion. Add 3 Mechs to your hand. Cast random spells with random targets. Build a deck with no duplicates. Discover the perfect card!
All of which completely ignores how, being a CCG, the game is inherently RNG based. Sure, not every game should play out the same. But right now we need to stage an intervention for Team 5 and tell them how much RNG is destroying us and them.
In the image of playing a game where you can make the best plays based on your experience, and a knowable conclusion, as opposed to playing a guessing game where the number of things that could happen make it no longer worth considering, and therefor interacting with.
I don't know why Quest druid doesn't run mechathun as tech against control. Vs aggro it's useless yeah but so is the deck itself. Might as well put a tech in that guarantees you a win. Save floop, play mechathun, play floop, Beeeees on floop, GG control warrior
Yeah, I’ve considered this. Why add Elise and Nomi when Floop and Beeees are already happy in the deck, and it accomplishes the same task.
Im probably days behind the meta, but I’m gonna keep experimenting with different expression of Quest Druid. I’m even messing around with one now that plays Oasis Surger as the only minion to capitalize on the two Crystalsong Portals I added.
Considering how good the choose one cards are after quest completion, cards that discover more copies of them seem good too, such as new Vulpine. I hope :)
Wanted to hear other people’s experiences with Chef Nomi Quest Druid. I tried it but what I found was that the game was already decided one way or the other before Nomi was playable or relevant.
My guess is that it is unnecessary in 99 percent of your matches and would be better replaced with something that shores up your weaknesses.
It’s not that it kills hype, the irksome bit is that it fast tracks the exploration. Before the set is even launched so many decks have already been seen and playtested.
There is a small window in this game where people are actually being creative before every deck becomes a carbon copy of each other and dull, and these streams shorten that window.
I don’t hate the specialist format nearly as much as everyone else seems to. I would try changing the sideboard to 10 cards. That might make for more variety and class representation.
I also would like to see more relegation, I’m sure there are other deserving players out there.
I’m no pro, but it looks ok. I see a small minion who was left up trading into a bigger minion with the aid of the divine shield, and then still defending your face.
Its almost like giving one of your minions a magnetized Zilliax, minus the lifesteal.
Thanks for getting back to me. It’s confusing because I read somewhere that says two seemingly conflicting things at the same time. 1. That you’ll get a new legendary quest each day for the first seven along with your normal quest (which I didn’t) and 2. That legendary quests will only be granted up until the conclusion of the festival on July 31.
Can someone please help me out? I was under the impression that we would be getting some legendary quests these coming weeks, but I’ve been re-rolling a quest everyday and I’ve only gotten one legendary quest and that was over a week ago.
Some of these comments are full of angst and sensitivity. You don’t need to be afraid or a special snowflake to not want other people dumping their less then desirable attitude on you. We could just as easily use colourful language to make accepting friend requests seem foolish. Like suggesting it’s a desperate grab for attention or conflict.
Fact is, most of the time it’s abuse. I have friends, I don’t need HS for that. I squelch at the beginning of every match and pretend like it’s a single player game, and I’ve never been happier while playing HS.

This is a major buff to Power of Creation, as the 6 cost Mage minions left something to be desired.

Just recently finished beating a Highlander hunter. I played Galaxy on 7, he play Bran, then conceded two turns later. I believe it was two.
Im sure this doesn’t prove much. But I did play an unplayable card in an unplayable deck against an unfavorable matchup, and won.

In my experience when you play him on 2 he always offers (assuming the opponents board is empty) 1.Wild Growth, 2.Brightwing, 3.I cant remember.
If I have Pocket Galaxy in hand I’m happy to turn 2 Zephrys into Wild Growth.

Anyone else having a similar experience?

Control warrior probably wouldn’t be very good without Dr.Boom, beating them is not so difficult when he isn’t played.
Dr.Boom, like Pocket Galaxy are highroll I win cards similar to the likes of Keleserh on 2.
