Buzzard, both conceptually and in play, was massively OP, and it STILL IS even with the nerf.
The biggest bullshit I've read so far as regards this endless Buzzard discussion. Just let him rest in peace.

I think a lot of people have been very immature about their hatred for Hunters. Is it strong? Yes. Is it so incredibly broken that we need to practically remove it's only way of drawing cards? Absolutely not! All classes have some extremely strong aspect to them that everyone hates at some point, it is part of what makes the game fun. You could argue that Druid needs a nerf because no other class has the ability to get a turn 1 Yeti, or to potentially be able to get out a turn 9 drop on turn 4. You could say that Mage needs a nerf because of the incredible amount of burst they can do with spells. Every class has something strong about it, and the Buzzard/UTH combo is what the Hunter has.
I'll say that it is fine for Hunters to be nerfed, but not this much. Practically removing the card draw engine for a class is a horrible mistake, and if this nerf goes through Hunter will be dead, with no chance of ever coming back. It would be so much better to have made Buzzard a 3 mana 2/1 or even 1/1. Hunter would be playable still, but nowhere near as strong.
Of course, the waves of people who hate Hunter will disagree. They just want to make it so nobody can ever play Hunter again, which is unfair to those who love the class. I have spent a ton of dust getting all of the good Hunter cards and now I may not ever be able to play the class again. Think it is frustrating having to face so much Hunter on the ladder? Well, imagine not being able to play your favorite class on ladder ever again. Say your favorite class is Paladin, and you love playing it. Then, a new deck comes out that everyone else plays, and it is super strong. Then people start complaining so much, that they nerf it so much that you can't play it again. That is 1000x more frustrating than any complaint you can ever have about this game.
So, yeah, I strongly disagree with how they have nerfed this card. Killing the Hunter is not a solution. This nerf feels like they were just too lazy to make a change to the card that would make it less strong, but still playable.
Edit: Here is a pros and cons list for the nerf:
Pros:
Refreshes the meta
Forces innovation in Hunter
Quells all of the complaints about Hunter
Cons:
Completely kills the class. There are now only 8 classes in the game.
Unfair to those who have spent time and money on Hunter cards
If the class isn't killed, it isn't even a solution to the problem

Love the flavor text for this card.

I don't think so. Rank 5 is very easy to get at the end of the season. Legend is the only rank one should aim for.
However I think there should be some kind of quest/achievement gold rewards for reaching rank 20,15,10,5 and Legend to create a feeling of progress for new players.

Putting this guy in a warrior deck would be pretty insensitive... Said by no control warrior deck users ever...

I'm not deck creator, but I'm pretty sure death's bite is good replacement for arcanite reaper. This way you can replace senjin with sludge belcher to keep the same curve. Since this deck has 6 cheap deathrattles already, you can play undertaker. Haunted creeper is not bad too, but I'm not sure about it in this deck. Also if you can fit in loatheb somewhere, he will almost always get his value: 5/5 stats for 5 at worst.

Rule of 2x soulfire or soulfire+doomguard
If the only way for you to win the game this turn is by using double soulfire or soulfire+doomguard to opponent's face, your first soulfire will always cause you to discard second soulfire or doomguard no matter how many other cards you have in hand. Your opponent's chance to kill you his next turn increases by 99%

I know this is a joke comment, but still you forgot scarlet crusader and wolfrider for the hunter's mark immunity part. But it's clear that scarlet crusader is worse than magma rager, because warrior can slam it and still draw a card. You also forgot to add that equality does nothing to this badass called magma rager.

Best use of this card: Play Leeroy attack one of the whelps he spawned and end the turn. You now have a free turn, because your opponent does nothing and runs out of time after falling down off the chair laughing.
