How is Winged Guardian so much more powerful than Evasive Drakonid? They're both taunt and untagetable. So the winged Guardeian comes back with 1 health? Do you think Hunter or Warlock or Paladin or any agro decks cares about killing a one health blocker?
I am going to give it a an A-. I'm really enjoying the vast number of decks I want to put together. A few of them are terrible, a few are powerful, all are fun and interesting to try and perfect. A friend was playing on Friday when I took the day off to do house chores. I asked if it was okay if I watched while I wrapped Christmas presents. He paraded out 8 different decks he had brewed, all from the new expansion and played them one after another for me. That's pretty amazing. (Thanks Jer.) Really good set. The bad - I have been really lucky this set and have had a great percentage of Legendaries in my pack opening. I don't know why any company from WOTC to Blizzard to anyone else thinks it is okay to make the rarest cards in the game completely useless. Do not make Legendaries that are complete garbage. There is no upside to this practice. Half of the Legendaries I have pulled from this set will never see play. Ever. Still a great set.
Your mana crystals are set to five. It doesn't say they're full or empty. You just have five now. After casting this I don't think you have any mana, just five empty mana crystals. That's how I'm reading it.
Really cool idea man. Thanks for this. I am def going to try it. You description doesn't match the deck list by a couple cards. just an fyi. Missing Grand Archivist and had one more Raven.
"It's been a banner year. So, what do we have up next? Ideas? "Should we introduce tournament mode as a permanent feature?" Nah "Should we make a less out of control Wild format like Magic has Extended? Maybe ban Aviana, Gul'Dan, Barnes and single cards that warp the whole format?" Nah. "Should we work on Arena? At all?" Nah.
"What about more golden hero skins that can be bought?”
“Oh man, full speed ahead on that. Okay, that's if for this quarter. Good talk!"

Too bad I couldn't buy a win with it. I make 5 and below every season and found this just too slow against aggro. I think I went 2-8 before giving up. Thanks for making it, as it looks great and the games I won were a lot of fun, but really, Oaken Summons without a 3/6 golem to help makes the deck too vulnerable to aggro. And aggro is 90% of your matches right now.
While extremely powerful at various levels, at level 5-0 everyone is teching decks to beat it. Odd warrior (which I admit is not very popular) can beat it by just gaining too much armor. Same with Jade Druid. Even Shaman beats it if they draw devolve. You can only survive long enough if you draw Spreading Plague and if they have devolve, that's not gonna help. I'd say my win rate is about 35-40% and this deck is everywhere. Warlock is now running Brann plus Dirty Rat plus "Change a minion in hand to a demon for both players" and also the 2/3 that burns a card. Toggwaggle druid beats it. Res Priest beats it if they draw Barnes. Especially if they get an Obsidian Golem off it. Or Ragnaros. Either one of those off Barnes and now when you kill the Obsidian Golem it kills one of your minions, usually breaking the combo. I lost yesterday to a guy who had 3 Obsidian Golem on turn 6 thanks to res. No way to win then. This morning Barnes got someone a Rags and you can't ignore it. Killed Barnes and took 8. Played a creature, took 8 more, finally had to kill it, he resed it twice.
Secret Mage beats it quite handily. There aren't a lot of creatures in the deck. And you can't start the combo until you're sure the secrets he has don't include Polymorph or explosions. This can be tricky to pull off. And even if you do make it through that, your opponent probably can't be killed in one turn and has enough burn to finish you off before you get a chance to attack.
I made it to 3.3 this weekend, then lost 8 in a row, then won 5 in a row, then lost 4 in a row, then alternated wins and losses to end up at 4.1. I'm fine with a nerf, the power level is very high, but it's no higher than Even Shaman or Res Priest or any other Warlock with a few tech cards.
I faced my first bot in a long time yesterday at rank 13 in Wild. The bot would play a card and then rope. Ending the turn just before it timed out. Extremely frustrating to get roped every turn. This started on turn one and lasted until the match was done.
I just started playing MTG: Arena last week and it mirrors the original post.
I really enjoyed the original post, but that is the nature of CCG's. I'm getting paired with people who have much better cards and tuned, competitive decks.
For me, the fun is in accumulating the cards and getting better. Striving to overcome.
Kinda bored with Hearthstone because I have everything and have all the top decks made.
There are a lot of decks that are viable in every class.
But most matchups are either decided by the nuts draw that can't be stopped, or, they are decided purely on what your deck is relative to theirs.
I climbed from 10-5 in 3 days with Taunt Druid, but then have been stuck at 5 for 10 days now. Taunt Druid is autolose vs big spell mage carrying Polymorph and Geist. Taunt Druid is autolose vs pretty much any OTK control deck like Shudderwolk, Priest with Malygos and the 7/7 spell damage guy whose name I'm forgetting right now. It's auto lose vs taunt quest warrior because of the minions they give you and brawl.
If you play aggro decks they are auto lose to taunt druid.
I almost always beat recruit hunter with Taunt druid but I played a guy yesterday who had 5 monsters on the board by his turn 8, my turn 7.
The meta is diverse but I don't find it fun. I can tell if I am going to lose 80% of the time just from the first few cards my opponent plays.
I've wanted this forever but at this point, I don't even care anymore.
It will be a year before this even sees live and it should have been implemented at launch. And please, stop with the BS. They have near infinite resources and adding tournament mode is not a hard thing. They implement it as a brawl whenever they feel like it. It might not be conquest format, but its still tournament mode.
And with how slow they react to broken cards and a stale meta, I have lost all faith in the devs.

This is a great deck, thanks.
I haven't been able to make Druid work at all in the new meta but this is very strong and a lot of fun.
Thanks again.

Any meta that still contains Mechathun and Toggwoggle is going to be garbage.

The artwork is terrible. She looks like a deranged clown on crack. She's seriously creepy and I'll never use her.
