The Tickatus warlock deck annihilates this deck. I had the luck of running into two of them in a row straight away when i first queued up this one. If that’s a typical experience, just don’t bother.
Why do I have the impression that Blizzard hadn't done the proper analysis? Why should I presume otherwise? They haven't shown us their data. They could end this debate quickly if they did. That suggests to me either that they haven't done the work, or it shows that the new system isn't as good for the average player as they claim.
It seems more charitable to conclude that they simply haven't done the proper work.
Though I haven't thought too seriously about it, yet, my hot take on this analysis is that it's based on a lot of unfounded assumptions about player behavior. The OP presents no data to demonstrate that his player profiles approximate reality. You really can't do this kind of analysis without that.
What's needed is to model profiles based on actual player data and to run monte carlo simulations to generate the gold earnings that these profiles might expect. I'm getting the impression that even Blizzard didn't take the time to do that.
I am so upset that, once again, Blizzard failed to announce this announcement of an announcement before they announced it. How am I to know that an announcement of an announcement is imminent if they neglect to announce it? It makes my blood boil! My time is worth more than this! Blizzard, please, announce forthcoming announcements before you announce them!
Why is the same deck being posted over and over again. We're not in the royal apartments here, after all, where the princess farts a sausage in the prince's mouth.
I don’t care for these emails. The stats they provided were useless. If there was some more meat to them they might be of value, but if they remain an exercise in feel-good bolstering, no thanks.
Blizzard devs have a marked habit of allowing hearthstone bugs to linger in the product for a long time, especially when they affect mobile platforms. I play regularly on an ipad air, and there are several serious issues affecting that platform of which Blizzard has been aware for months and still hasn't addressed. With regard to this particular bug, Blizzard has moved quickly because it is clearly severe and very visible, but in my estimate this is not the norm.
And, speaking as a software engineer, I find their lack of interest in fighting these issues disappointing and probably, yes, due to a lack of investment in engineering generally. So the poster above isn't that far from the mark.
I think the way they nerfed Kael'thas is dumb for the same reason that the way they nerfed rogue galakrond was dumb: it makes 0 cost spells cost 1. That's just a step too far.

Dear OP: good riddance.

Terrible deck. Loses to both insane aggro and insane stall/combo decks, which is all that the wild meta offers. Don’t bother.

This simply isn’t true. Playing a better deck can help you, if you have the skill. Stop discouraging players from trying to do better.

I don’t care to play this deck. I just want to know how to beat it. Cancer like this must be punished.

You can't just dismiss every criticism of the game as salt. Either refute it or stay out of it.
