Thank goodness.
I thought they'd never get around to monetising the game!
Well done Blizzard!

Theotar, the Mad Duke now costs 5 instead of 4. I seriously doubt this will lower the rate at which this card gets played.

Guys, it was not a joke. It is true.

Activision also wrote fake news of a terrorist attack for the marketing of CoD.

LOL, maybe another that was in charge to fight against the terrorism.

Surcharge fees aren't a legit reason. Hearthstone easily makes enough money to cover them, and they're still gonna deal with transaction fees from selling the Runestones to begin with. Also "they need to keep the business running" is the same excuse for all awful practices in gaming, please don't fall for it. Hearthstone makes about $400 million a year already, it's very profitable so all of the extra monetization methods are just greed, plain and simple. This is Blizzard we're talking about, a company that makes redundancies during record profits and has some of the most overpaid executives in all of gaming.

In Russian localization the card named И'Шарадж (Ih-Shah-raj), something in the middle of both variants. I think it would be less confusing for everyone if it was spelt Y'Sharaj (or even Ya'Sharaj) instead of Y'Shaarj.
the only thing I care regarding russian localization is when it will localize itself out of Ukraine..

I’ve had some success against quest druid with Big Spell Mage. More generally, quest druid has some trouble with removing large minions, like the dragons Big Spell Mage can summon. Their biggest removal tool is Onyxia, but, they only have one. So, the bigger you go, the better.

I think warlock should have received a nerf as well. They can cheat out Chaddius early, with the slime, in much the same manner as shaman.

They don’t test. They don’t find these unfortunate interactions in development and fix them before release. They. Just. Don’t. Test.

You’re correct, but both spellings are valid and mean the same thing, so my question stands; what is it supposed to mean?

QA at Blizzard has clearly been poor for a while. I would guess they’ve been developing battlegrounds skins at the expense of critical QA functions.

Blizzard is once again too slow to make changes, and too timid when they eventually do. I think these nerfs will do very little to change the shape of the meta. They certainly won’t make the unplayably bad classes and archetypes (e.g. secrets rogue) any more fun or playable.
What we need are redesigns of several cards from this expansion . We also need core set cards that actually matter, so that when we have major fails in the design of an expansion, a class can fall back on the core set.

Why are they being coy about revealing the nerfs? What’s the point? It’s too late to change their minds about it anyway.
I’ve found this expansion to be one of the most horribly balanced in hearthstone’s history. I’m hugely dissatisfied with that, and the fact that it’s taken the devs months to try to rectify the problems. The quality of design and response to the issues is abysmal.
This expansion has been particularly bad for FTP players like me. Only a few classes like hunter are genuinely playable, and their decks contain an absurd number of legendaries and epics, which means that if you haven’t spent a lot on packs you are likely to be shut out of playing any good deck. There are no good budget decks, unless you count aggro druid, which I don’t think is that great. I feel like I’ve been denied participation in this meta, and I blame that on the poor balance among classes.

As if hunter needs more powerful cards

Typical of Kotick to hire some Republican croney, as a means of currying influence in the party. He uses Blizzard-Activision as a political prop (e.g. Blizzard's official reaction to California's lawsuit was nothing but political rhetoric.)
This is why I've been boycotting Hearthstone. I refuse to put my hard earned money in Blizzard's coffers until Kotick is gone.

Netdecking is a completely legitimate way to play the game. No one is obligated to waste their time losing with poorly constructed, custom decks just to provide you with some amusement. If you want to spend your time that way, you're welcome to, but don't expect that anyone else should.
