IMO I think Ancharr is tier 1 in the current meta.
I don't know any relevant warrior deck that doesn't run it (no hands warrior, bomb warrior, etc). As long as risky skipper is in the meta, and warrior doesn't get a better draw engine, I think the card is tier 1.
You have to click a few buttons to mulligan at the start of every game too, you also have to play cards. But clicking twice on a hero portrait to squelch is too much "menial labour"?
I don't think that's an apt comparison. Mulligan requires thought and part of the reason we play game. Auto-squelch does not and can be an automated action. It's just a QOL improvement.
I don’t get why people always get so triggered by emotes. It’s just meaningless taunting which you can ignore or squelch with a press of the button. It’s not that hard to press a button, people.
People are wired differently. Just because one person isn't triggered, doesn't mean another person won't be. Getting triggered by bm isn't even indicative of skill level. Viper, who went 2nd to hunterace in hct last year, squelches in his streams.
Yes, it's a button, but clicking that button every single match gets tedious quickly. Not to mention it's very possible to forget/overlook doing it. A tick box in the options menu to "automate" this menial task will be greatly appreciated. Third party softwares can do it, why cant the base game.
I'm not sure what made you think this isn't a good card 6/5 stats across 2 bodies with taunt and rush for 4 mana is really good. If you are running quests the condition is negligible.

IMO, don't disenchanted legendaries. The dust values are too low. The only exception I think if you play standard and have no viable deck. Even then it's a tough call.
Try this one. It's only tier 2 but it does a lot considering how much it costs. It only has 2 epics, no legendaries, and most are common cards. You can use this while building your collection.
You can try the other decks once you have a bigger collection.
Additionally, the game has "secret" quests for beginners which gives gold, dust, classic packs. For example, winning your first 5 practice matches gives a classic pack. I suggest trying to complete those to jumpstart your collection.

From a value perspective, it's bad.
1. Pricing is just weird. Normal price gives 7 packs for $10 while this gives 5.
2. The pack card pool also contains mage cards from last season which rotates in a month or so.
That said, if you have more money than time, why not.

I honestly don't know why after so many years auto-squelch hasn't been implemented.

The only deck I could think of is combo priest. It's true core isn't in this year's set and it's fairly competitive (though hard to pilot).
Alternative, as others have mentioned in waiting 2 months till rotation. Then you can prioritize your crafts more effectively.

I hate priest as a class regardless of meta. I hope blizz reworks the class identity of priest.

This.
Disliked playing against priest the priest class since i started playing. I even auto concede when I draw priest in casual. Not worth the irritation.
EDIT: I mean priest in any meta, not specifically this meta.

Looks solid. Innervate on a stick. Slower but will have persistent effect if the minion sticks.
Can help combo decks by setting up a turn earlier or control decks to ramp.

I'm happy it doesn't fit in res priest. That class needs new archetypes.

Cash for me. I'll save my gold for the next expansion.
