I'm 8-3 against secret mage and 9-0 against all warlock types in the past 2 days (24-13 overall, 65% winrate from rank 15-10). In my experience the hardest matches are jade/big druid, kingsbane rogue, and big hunter. But these decks are few and far between (that being said I did play a stretch of 7 games where 6 of those games were against those decks which was garbage). 50% of my matches are warlock and mage.

Do I think Alexstrasza is necessary? Probably not but it IS an extra dragon and this deck is already slim on them. So removing her gets rid of a chunk of your synergy. She's also won me many games by allowing me to burst down my opponent with my board or by allowing me to survive pyroblasts from secrets mage so I can kill them next turn. There are probably other cards you can use but Alexstrasza is definitely a good fit for this deck.

Do I think Shadowreaper Anduin is necessary? Less necessary then Alexstrasza. The only time I've ever cleared a board with him is against mages, and if you're making it to turn 8 against a secrets mage you're already in decent shape - but by playing him you're also killing your healing which is really important in that matchup. I don't know what I would swap for him but I don't think it's an essential card for this deck.

Iron Hide is gain 5 armor for 1 mana so if you compare this card to iron hide you have to ask yourself "is the effect worth 5 mana." The only one I feel is worth it is the weapon one where you get an Arcanite Reaper which costs 5 so it isn't even discounted. If this card cost 5 it would be better.

Have you tried subbing glimmerroots for mana geodes? They can get out of control fast if your opponent doesn't have an answer.

Also makes the curve a little more attractive

Just had a game against exodia mage and had almost 60 health with my armor, the dude almost ran out of time before he could kill me.
Is it possible to stack enough armor that they can't finish before their turn ends or would the animations just continue into my turn ala priest and shadow visions? If so, does anyone know how much armor/health you need?

Sometimes I just forget to end my turn

Don't have Swamp King Dred so i'm gonna test this with a Sergeant Sally for now

People hate priest right now because Priest has an insane set of tools that basically tie the other player's hands behind their backs. "I'll take that, thank you!" ... "Oh, look, here's a Tirion I found! Cool. Oh, you didn't even draw the Tirion you had in your own deck? How sad. I'll beat you with your own win condition." ... "Oh hi, little Grandmother! What big teeth you have! I'll just kill this cute cat with you and keep your Big Bad Wolf for myself." ... "Ok, now that I'm bored of all that taking control of your things, I'll just drop Lyra, cast a few cheap spells, grab a couple of free divine spirits and inner fires, and OTK you. Nothing you can do about that either." And just in case, "OOOH, you dropped a really big minion. Nice. I'll just keep that for myself, thanks!"

Right now, some priests are basically bullies (just check out one of the most popular netdecks on here right now ... "Oppression Priest"). The only decks that are potentially more infuriating to play against right now are Quest Rogue and Quest Warrior.

Maybe it's annoying to play against but oh man is it fun to play that style of priest; you get 2 decks!

I assumed it was because of the highlander/edh format in mtg but I guess that also references the movie 'Highlander'
