    Yeah it would be slightly worse than highmane and somewhat better than cairne so right on fringe of being played in lots of decks if costed at 6.  As is I have actually used it in nzoth curator paladin despite it being a little overcosted.

    No this was a great nerf it was played in way too many decks before and was frustrating to lose to repeatedly.  Now it is seen only rarely in decks that really need a potential board swing (it sees play in some jade druid builds for instance) and your opponent needs some balls to put it in their deck so you don't feel to bad losing to it.  I think it is great in its current state seeing little enough play that it is actually fun when it is played and not just frustrating.

    But if a lot of dragons rotate they will be fewer good options to put in as activators so it will probably see less play, but yes when activated it will be good.

    This guy is already good, even with rockbiter nerfed, no idea why most comments are hating on him, he is still solid choice for any midrange shaman (most lists I've seen include him and I find him great in such decks), and is also pretty good in some control shamans.
