I mean it was still EVIL Cable Rat but for 1 mana + Overload.
Now that I think about it, it was never really that problematic by itself. Hell, I forgot it had Overload until someone pointed it out to me because it was so oftenly used to play a Lackey turn 2. I guess it just was unfairly nerfed and emblimatic of a bigger problem (Quest/Galakrond Shaman) and I see they've really tanked in WR so you know, this is good for them.
Also a completely different archtype than a Quest deck, as you'd typically want your Quest to be the focus of the deck. That and this card doesn't need the Invokes, it just needs you to play a quest in the first place. Pretty much any Quest deck who has a free slot will run it for the 4/2 with Rush on 4 with the 2/3 Taunt,
That's fine, honestly. Amalgam is just too good by itself due to it being able to be buffed by anything. Though this also makes menagerie decks much harder to pull off now, it also means the everpresent Mech decks don't have a random Poisonous to fuck up your 3/50 Annihilation Battlemaster!
Like I guess it's playable in a Zoo deck, but Dire Mole was so much better. Like a vanillia 2/2 isn't going to do much compared to something good like Argent Squire or Fire Fly.
Yeah it's stronger stat wise but it's tribeless, textless pack filler garbage. Stats mean jack shit in this day and age of abusing synergy to hell and back. If anything it's weaker than said cards due to lack of synergy. You have 0 reason to run this. It's a filler card like Worgen Greaser.
Save the powercreep bullshit for when a good card gets an objectively better version...
It's okay, I guess. Has anti-synergy with 50% of the Dragon cards this expansion, but it's okay if you want to be a big brain player and throw down stats.
But if you're just bothered about stats, why even play high-cost Dragons? Just play Zoolock.
6/10, massively overhyped and I can't wait for people's greedy decks to fall the fuck apart because they forgot that good decks need more than Dragons and Goblin Dragon Egg. Big meme, Troggzor has a new brother.
The funny part is that a lot of the new cards rely on having a Dragon in hand. So even if you do miraculously draw this on 4 without drawing any of the 20+ Dragons you've inevitably shoved in for "value", you won't be able to spam them out unless you just want the stats. Which is a fine point I suppose.
But then you could just be playing a standard aggro deck instead.
There are cards that take advantage of this, notably the more Legendary-type Dragons that don't rely on such trickery, but that that point you're hoping to draw one Legendary before the other and that's where the problem lies.
This card is nowhere near as godlike as the masses are saying, Nowhere near. In Highlander Dragon decks, this will probably see play out of necessity to fill out the 30 card limit, but in smartly designed, not mega greedy decks, it'll depend on the class.

Christ, another Demon Hunter nerf. Good thing, of course.
What interests me is the Sac Pact/Open the Waygate ones.

Leeroy died for this.

I like how people are complaining about Standard being broken.
Guys, it's not that fucking easy to rebalance cards. Not like it's particularly dire right now...

That and it really does show how powerful Reno/Galakrond really are compared to the player, who is called "Adventurer".
You're just a standard adventurer going up against the GOD OF FUCKING DRAGONS. The fuck do you think would happen?

Heroric Rafaam + Galakrond: "There's no way you can win. We're doomed."
Pretty accurate. Gala got invoked 5 times by Turn 5. I died the very next turn.
so you know bring exodia mage and pray
