     Alright need a last minute feedback on my submission. (Also waiting for a possible page 5 since Cogito made page 4 a death page :P)

     

    Strange crystals have been appearing all over Outland and rumor told of the unimaginable power every single one contains. However the Legion has been seen collecting them also and conflict is imminent. What will become of Outland with this battle for power?

    This expansion have a focus on the new mechanics and demons. With many demons finding a home in the neutral card pool and non warlock classes.

    Two new mechanics are introduced:

    Fel Magic cards:

    Tokens:

     Many are finding great power from the crystals but the cost for power is always great: (Mage, Warlock, Warrior, Hunter, and Rogue have succumb to the Fel Magic power)

    Some however have come to Outland to fight against the legion and corrupted: (Paladin, Priest, Shaman, and Druid have come to stand against the corruption)

    Need advice on fel magic balance and whether the examples show a good theme of the expansion.

    @SDhn2a Although I haven't looked at all of your cards I think you should completely drop salvage all together. Team Five has already said how not spending mana is counter intuitive because the purpose of the game is to spend mana (Look at them talking about early gadgetzan ideas namely the kabal early ideas). Where as those cards encourage you to not do that. Otherwise a few cool ideas were in there although I think you made a few cards to good like that 4/8 dragon for priest. They are just a little to good to not include in pretty much any deck. Maybe rework them to be a little weaker in some aspects. (I'll give a bigger list tomorrow)

    Okay its been a while since I posted here but I'm torn on which of the two mechanics I should use with my expansion.

    Would be used with things like "If the card is a dragon gain +1/+1" and a lot of other things. I imagine it looks like discover and a new red button would say "okay" to close the cards (it would still have the hide button like discover).

    The other one isn't a keyword but a new mechanic:

    Note: There would also be a Purified Crystal that is the same as these but is based around the light and pure.

    Anyway these  cards would have a small pool of cards that offer things like 4 mana "Summon a 6/6 infernal" or other basic things like that.

    I'm quite torn between which of these two mechanics seem more interesting as I like fel shards more but it feels like a mish mash of adapt and a small card pool like Ysera. Any feedback is appreciated.

    The first (and only) Neutral Quest!

    "What's a Waypoint?"

    9 Class cards (1 for each) and 5 Neutral cards will give the ability to drop Waypoints on top of your deck!

    A taste of the type of power the Nether Shard will grant you!

    (Nether Shard will always be shuffled into the last 6 cards on your deck)

    Rumors have it that there’s some pretty hefty power just laying around in the Netherstorm! Its up to your to recover it before your competition gets it first! The area is swarming with Goblins, Ethereals, and Blood Elves who already hold outposts there. If you’re just hearing it now, who knows how far they’ve gotten! Some are already creating alliances to split the power together once they locate the Shard, it’s only a matter of time before someone finds and claims it!

     

     Some try to brave the Netherstorm without adequate supplies, and many have become lost. As you trek towards your ultimate goal, it may be of some use to you to “help” them out? Some people may surprise you, and the more help you have, the higher your chances of actually getting the Shard are. Once in a while, the competition may also drop spellbooks that could do all kinds of good! It’s good to hurry, but maybe we should scope out the area one more time….

     

    There is a lot of ground to cover, so you’d best get moving! Watch where you go, or you can end up like the lost. That, or find yourself somewhere completely unfamiliar. But it’s not all bad! There are plenty of secrets hiding within the Netherstorm...

    Off to the first Waypoint!

    So this is the plan! Looks good?

    Also for clarification sake, You won't have to keep track of the amount of Waypoints reached. Once you play one, you get notification above your hero similarly to that of the Rogue Quest's.

     Definitely well thought out and put together. Although I do have a issue with the quest in it might make to linear of deck building if at least one class enchantment is good but I would need to see how many waypoint giving cards are in the set.
    My biggest fear would be that the quest is a very limited card and limits your deck building capacity. Much like C'Thun is in game. But unlike C'Thun which kinda got more interesting deck buildings due to things like Stonehill Defender but this feels even more limited.
    My only other issue is I don't like the Recover keyword at all and i think it should be dropped. Namely I try to stick to how hearthstone does expansion and there hasn't been a single expansion that needed more than 1 keyword. In fact I've had to drop about 5 keywords because I think of them as to limiting or I would just use them to pad out the cards.
    Just my thoughts really loving your expansion so far otherwise!

     Plus, it's awfully similar to the Energy mechanic from Kaladesh (an MTG expansion).
     I never played magic before but man that does seem so similar. I'm gonna come up with something else anyway so hopefully no more issues will arise.

     Hm that is true well guess it's back to the drawing board. I didn't even see your posts as I kinda saw the rules and go with the first thing I thought of. Ah well it happens hope you find success with the idea!

    Updated slightly after I worked out some more things.

    Exapansion is Legion based and deals with many demon and a new mechanic Fel Crystals.

    The lore behind this expansion is that sometime after the legion invaded Azeroth (on several different occasions mind you) and were forced back, strange powerful crystals were being found all over those now barren lands. These crystals offered huge power to the weilder and both the Legion and people of Azeroth want to use them to hopefully crush the the opposing side. Not entirely worked out yet just a simple background to the expansion.

    Here's some things I got so far:

    Needs rewording I know just don't know the best wording yet.

    Some explanation on Fel Crystal: When a card creates a crystal it will appear in right above the mana bar as small green crystals. Whenever cards use these crystals they disappear and the affect on the card happens. For example the Corrupted Shaman will create a totem if there is at least 2 fel crystals available. However nothing happens if the Fel Crystal requirement is not met. This also goes in order in terms of cards like deathrattles whichever is played first takes it affect then the next one played and on and on.

    (You know if  Sylvanas Windrunner is played and then if a Harvest Golem is played by the opponent then they are killed in a Twisting Nether Sylvanas won't steal the token that the golem creates.)

    Still need to make up Illidan's weapon choices.

    Gonna change the Overflowing Infernal to different art and different stats.

    Gonna make small adjustments to the other cards. Dark Portal is gonna give 3 Fel Crystals etc etc.

    And hopefully these cards show the new feature of the expansion somewhat good. Any feedback is welcome.

I'm iffy on the cost since it kinda fills a hole in paladin that I don't want to to be an auto include but it feels like a really cool idea for a card.

    posted a message on Dusting unwanted cards - keep it or dip it?

    My thoughts would be to NEVER disenchant anything from any adventures as you can't get them except by recrafting them. So keep moroes around even though he is bad.

    The other legendaries are ok to disenchant but do think if you'll ever want to play something fun that they could be included in. Another way to look at it is if your gonna open a lot of packs then it's safe to disenchant them as you may open them again/ have enough dust to craft them.

    Grim Patron?

    He only has 3/3 and dies vs most things

    Cards like Whirlwind have a spin effect and these cards were used with patron,

    Blackrock mountain is where patron xomes from and is generally considered hot. (It's a volcano :p)

    Beserk is kinda similar to enrage and in patron art he hold a cup while being in a tavern.

    Patron Warrior was the top deck for some time and this relates to the other time clue at the end.

    (Also if I get this anyone can go as I just got a turn and don't have much time to get a good riddle)
