    1) Tbh I feared that someone will sense it as well. The initial effect of this card was to gain +2/+2, but I scrapped that idea, because it felt like a plain and an unoriginal copy of Grimestreet Enforcer and I couldn't give it to the Lotus family. However I want to disagree on the evolve part - if the battlecry was something like that, then the deathrattle wouldn't trigger at all. The minion would have just transformed and the deathrattle would have been lost. I also hate RNG cards constantly being given to the shaman class.

Whoops, I meant Adapt (pick three) instead of Evolve. Thanks for the feedback, by the way.

I like the idea of Sensei Cloud Seeker, but having the Battlecry instead of just Windfury seems tacked on to meet the challenge requirements, as there game difference between Battlecry: Windfury and Windfury. Now, if it was Battlecry: Evolve, that would be different as doubling Evolves has a slick benefit. Plus it still meets to theme of the teacher passing on their leanings.

Restless Spirit is interesting, some small skill check on opponents keeping track of which restless spirit summoned which. A very middle of the road road like average payouts for skilled play.

    Agreed on Charming Sorc. Meh.

I've always like one card type masquerading as another. So here is a weapon that makes a minion that is really just a weapon, with an interesting upside.

My first attempt had the weapon at 3 mana, but I felt it being on curve made it too strong with all the shannegians you can get up to with Shaman and Battlecries: Murmuring Elemental to get an extra guy. Shudderwock to get a guy who will never die so long as the Weapon is no longer up. Earthen Might to have a 5 attack immune minion for three turns. Windfury? Spirit Echo to get it back after it dies and replay it after the weapon was destroyed, and so forth.

I set the Elemental's mana cost at 5 for both Evolve synergies and making it slower to set up a turn where you can get it in your hand then destroy the weapon so you have a permanent unkillable minion. While I could see games where it got cheated out and got massively buffed, it is slow and still susceptible to Transform effects. Overall I think it is interesting enough to build decks around, which I personally think are the best cards.

There a 50/50 chance you get a 4/5 for 4 mana or a 6/7 for 4 mana and 4 life . If it successfully lives it can continue to grow, but the 50% chance to hit your hero becomes increasingly deadly as it does.

I want Initiation to be a thing so bad! It would make Blackhowl Gunspire control much closer to viable.

Give a friendly minion the Worgen curse! It swaps stats when cursed just like the other Worgen minions while in hand. Combos great with the high health Warrior class defensive minions.

A slowly growing minion that speeds you to fatigue. My original idea was for it to Evolve on each death, but having that text roll forward on each death took up way too much space for a normal Hearthstone card.

    Return to Icecrown

Blood-Queen Lana'thel is missing. The Blood Princes scream bloody murder. The Ymirjar see weakness in the Frozen Throne. And something really stinky is boiling in Professor Putricide's lab. Who can the Lich King turn to discover the truth of the matter before civil war erupts in the citadel?

Join Sir Finley Mrrgglton in investigating the mysterious disappearance of  the Blood-Queen and visiting one of the most chilling settings in all of  WARCRAFT!

The adventure will harken back to detective noir films of the 1940s with the traditional light humor of Hearthstone Adventures! In Act I both Sir Finley and yourself are asked by the Lich King to investigate the mysterious disappearance of the Blood-Queen. During the first mission Sister Svalna, one of the valkyrie and playing the role of fem fatale, directs you to Professor Putricide's lab where the Blood Queen was last seen. However, before any investigating can be done the undead doggies Stinky and Precious decide they really want to play in an exciting alternating two boss fight!

After dealing with the over excited pooches, its time to interview Festergut and Rotface in separate encounters. While Finley disapproves you have to beat the truth out of them! Festergut doesn't handle stress well and you have to survive as the room fills with bodily gases. Last long enough and he starts talking! Rotface is a more standard fight with unique minions. With the clues leading to Putricide's lab, you open the last adventure for the act to find... Prince Valanar? It seems he is not happy with your investigation and has decided to negotiate. Harshly. After dispatching him you discover Putricide to be lamb, and your bag of questions brimming full!

Each act reveals a new truth on what is going on in Icecrown, culminating in a shocking reveal!

This adventure does not present one sole Big Bad but a series of suspects leading up to the grand finale!

    Example cards from Act I:
