posted a message on Nine Golden Portrait Celebration

Hi all!  I just wanted to take a minute and celebrate completing 500 wins will all 9 classes.  I just finished Paladin using Quest Pally, which also lined up with my 7000th overall win.  I know many others have many more wins, but this is an exciting milestone for me, so I thought I'd share.

Anyone else hit an important HS milestone recently?  Any upcoming?

    Cheers...

What's the point of having a thread like this every week?

What’s the point of playing video games?

    Magic Find team,

Do you own InnKeeper?  If so, will you be updating and maintaining it?  If so, what is your estimated timeline?

    Thanks—HS community

I still don’t have it. So much for June 3 release (at least on mobile)

posted a message on Have you switched over to Out of Cards?

I’ll stick around here to witness the end times, but I’m happy to already switch to OoC. I mostly visit on mobile, and hearthpwn consistently spams me with popups.

Just like many others, this was my go-to site for Hearthstone news, release info, and fun in the forums. I visit the site probably too often, so it will be missed. I look forward to the next incarnation. Best of luck!!

posted a message on The RoS adventure is far worse value than buying packs

You are right that based on pack value alone, it is not worth it. But, this is not surprising and has been known all along. The value is in the PvE content itself as you alluded to.  You must be willing to pay gold or money for the fun of the content, and the packs somewhat offset the cost of that fun.

I realize there are trade offs, but I honestly miss the unique card rewards from the old adventures. Even if it was only 1 card per wing or something.  I am F2P, and it was easy enough to save gold for those adventures.

As F2P, I will pay gold for the RoS PvE since I personally value the fun of it.  I do wish it was released earlier since I am waiting to craft until I get those packs, but I understand they are trying to spread out the content releases to keep interest/engagement up over time.

posted a message on F2P to P2P Fatigue Paradox, Lack of Achievements

I think this type of fatigue happens with any activity you really dive into. You clearly play a lot and have reached some of your goals (good collection).  I would suggest finding your own challenges in lieu of official achievements.  Try some crazy combo decks. Try Wild (though the collection would be an issue). Try you hand at deck building and look for some interesting new strategies and synergies (a la Chump on YouTube).  There is even a reddit thread (or is it here?) as I recall with frequent challenges to keep things interesting.  The other option, as with any activity, is to take a break and then come back later when things are feeling fresh.  Good luck.
