I've gotten used to playing against this deck often, so I play Raza priest. Simply mulligan for Reno and board removal and it's not too hard to win. Mindrender Illucia is also playable early, especially if you have AOE, Reno, or value-generating cards in hand.
When I first read it I thought that it said costs one less. When I saw the actual wording, I realized that this is strong indeed. So far the most impactful card of the new expansion in my opinion. This is on the top of my list of my most wanted cards this expansion so far.
As someone playing mainly Raza priest lately, I must say that the only times I usually lose to warrior are against odd Silas otk warrior. One time I even managed to burn the Warrior's Silas with my Mindrender Illucia, but he still won. I don't have enough games against Bomb Warrior to say too much about it, but the shuffle mechanic can be a good counter to Polkelt in addition to the obvious effect of countering the highlander cards. Most Raza priest games seem to be won by chipping away slowly or stalling until they can perform their 26+ damage combo. If you can get enough armor, then the priest might have difficulties performing his combo without killing himself in the process.
I would love to have a new game mode that incorporates at least one of the following: disabled animations, a lower turn timer, tournament mode, a mode that allows a player to limit what cards are allowed to be played (e.g. banning a class, banning certain cards/card types). the previous idea could be fun in combination with a draft mode (assuming you ban before drafting). a sandbox mode to more easily test deck ideas, perhaps with multiplayer (admittedly not as exciting as the other ideas). An arena mode where you redraft every game could also be interesting, but perhaps too time consuming to keep drafting repeatedly - maybe offset this by combining with "rapid-fire" mode (no animations, reduced turn timer) lol
Edit: thank you for the updated guide. I've been enjoying a version of this deck in standard with desert obelisk (interacts well with lorekeeper) and Mogu cultist. I run counterspell and blizzard and a bunch of taunts to delay until late game. I didn't think to add escaped Manasaber but that's a really good idea. It seems that this deck is instant win against priests and most control decks, which is a huge plus. I started out mid bronze, but my starting record was something like 19 - 3. The only possible loss seems to be agains aggro.
The question is a bit nuanced. Not having a ranked mode could make casual play much more competitive due to the shift of the player database and potentially make casual mode assume elements of ranked that are distasteful to those who don't like it, such as frequently playing against "meta" decks or allowing the need to win place limits on one's creativity. This would be even worse if measures were taken to incentivize progress or winning in casual mode to compensate for the loss of ranked.
If casual mode were to stay in its current state, I would totally still play Hearthstone. However, one of the things that makes especially creative decks fun is pulling them off every now and then in a competitive setting such as ranked. Ranked is also a really good diagnostic tool to improve decks, even if they are primarily played in casual mode. Lastly, the loss of ranked would force those who really want to see if their best deck can beat the opponent's best deck to play with people that may not have the same goal for the game, inevitably creating frustration.

Don't forget Youthful will still be better with 0-cost minions like Wisp ;)

Yes, an extended guide would be appreciated.

Not the most familiar with dormant effect, but this could work well with Emperor Thaurisan
