Blizzard “own goaled” themselves on this.
it’s not a fast response. It never should have happened in the first place. They ruined one of their play modes for over a week now.
0 cred to the small indie company and the Devs is in order.

People defending this deck fail to understand a simple thing. Ok, taken, Pirate Warrior and Aggro Druid may kill you even faster - BUT - they dont run through their whole deck, playing 15 cards in a turn, hoping to make it in time to finish you off. That should not be possible, just like Mage and Druid. They really need to be extremely careful about reducing or changing costs in cards because in the end, Hearthstone is not MtG, there is no instant spell and stack or w/e to counter things, like blasting Soul Stealer when he drops or countering Arcane Aligenment (traps don't count). What do they do, they drop Anacondra, Spring Water, Incanter' s, Soul Stealer etc, already having nerfed Kael' Thas because of the same problem. That's just really, extremely, almost unforgivably bad card design. If the card development team can' t handle it, bring some Pro Players in to share their wisdom.

It's not about feelings but about being able to play a gamemode without having any form of control or midrange decks destroyed because the meta is warped by a overtuned otk deck that is also breaking the game animations for god's sake. People cry everytime sure, but sometimes there is a valid reason. This deck, Atm mage and similiar stuff make the game unfun for everyone that isn't playing them. Otks are fine, they make a meta healtier when they are not this easy to setup and play. Otherwise it becomes a rush to either kill your opponent by turn 5 or be killed by your opponent on turn 5. Also now it has become darkest hour 2.0, so yes if it's predecessor was nerfed, this will be too

is there a reason to use this deck instead of the raza variant i am genuinly asking

4x power overwhelming from Tansim + Zephyrs finding Lava Burst for lethal
In high level this can happen frequently

If you leave a single giant on board they may hit you for 29 damage at once with 10 mana.
Played reno tickatus lock on high legend (200 - 100) for most of last season and even with so much removal I had, it was a pretty hard matchup.
Even if you leave a 1/1 on board he can still burst you for 22 damage at once.
Edit: also, if he's smart and combine a couple of giants with Loatheb, you got to be lucky to have an answer.

Should Celestial alignment be banned next?
It breaks the game the same way as Stealer of Souls: by allowing you to draw and play your whole deck in a turn due to druid's huge card draw arsenal in wild.
And now that Lady Anacondra exists, its even worse. We haven't beem seeing much of it due to SoS, but after the ban goes live I think it will be much more prevalent.

I agree with most of your suggestions.
People commenting doesn't seem to understand the whole ecosystem. With one simple nerf to a proeminent archetype, others can become much more powerful, that's why some hunter nerfs are suggested.

This stupid deck has to go, it's not healthy. Blizzard is taking way too long to nerf it.

Fun deck

I didn't track it, but I played around 8 hours with it from Diamond 5 to legend (I guess), made to legend on the first week of May. Hope this helps somehow.

Sorceress Apprentice is a real MVP to this deck, I wouldn't recommend removing it.
Apprentice + Flamewaker can burst so much damage that it may be your best answer against aggro and a a great finisher if needed against control.

Thanks for commenting. I've been trying different cards in those 2 slots in which I added portal. I've tried Book of Specters, a second Freezing Potion with a second Mana Giant, Learn Draconic, Ice Block, Conjurer's Calling among a few others, and the one card with most value was Unstable Portal.
Including random minions make it even more chaotic, but a 3 mana discount on a large minion or even playing a 2-3 cost minion for free can really help you stall your oponent until you get a good cyclone or flamewaker combo.
