The legendary should have had the effect "when the game starts" instead of a battlecry.

Compare it to Impending Catastrophe and the imp package or Wild Spirits and the wildseed package, totems just don’t have as much impact. Having to copy battlecries to make your totems good enough isn’t as good as playing a denathrius combo and ending the game.

Imp games are over by turn 3, priest games can be over by turn 5. None of this has (imo) been properly balanced/playtested (or we're looking at the cynical view "make the new stuff OP so people buy it"). We're back into the game style of "don't have a counter - you lose", except you're looking at that happening in the first few turns of the game.
Did we really need a new miracle rogue archetype? I mean, I guess it was always so much fun watching the opponent draw their entire deck while you wait patiently. This time round they get some giant stealthed minions and a giant weapon too! How exciting...
Mage - woohoo - unavoidable endless damage. You get a freeze, you get a freeze you get a freeze!
Druid is always irritating to play against (and alaways will be as long as Guff is in standard). If it wasn't for Guff (and perhaps cold tooth mine) I think druid would be pretty poor this expansion.
As for paladin, shaman, warrior, DH and hunter I have seen zero of them since the expansion launched (I mean literally zero), so I cant comment on their decks.
I realise this is just how things are, but it really pisses me off to play against identical, net-decked decks the first 10 games of the new expansion.
I think I might just play duels for now - probably more balanced

Each class will have a Legendary minion that is a prime suspect in Sire Denathrius’s murder. They all have the means and the motive, but it is up to you and Murloc Holmes to determine who is guilty.
I dont get this. Is there really a story hidden in the game? And if I somehow solve the riddle who the murder is, will I earn something?
Currently to me it looks like there are just 10 Legendarys, nothing more. What are your thoughts?

3 more spells is a lot more to play for it I think and will definitely slow it down and remove more spells for their end game burst

Explosive Runes can stop rush minions from removing it. Oasis Ally also stops rush minions (kind of) by buffing Orion before he can take the attack. 7 attack rushers are hard to come by. Ice Barrier is the only secret in standard that doesn't somehow protect Orion, so each time there's a 66% chance he puts up more protection. This is like Blademaster Okani but if your opponent guesses wrong they have to keep guessing and the minion gets harder and harder to remove.
If something like Ancient Mysteries was in standard this guy would be pretty scary. As it stands this requires you to either skip turn 3 or be a turn 7 play and requires some bad cards in your deck, so we'll see. Leaning towards no, but we'll see what they print. It feels like I don't really want to be in the timeline where he's good.
