Try playing a deck where the win condition is having fun.  I would recommend checking out WowHobbs for this, as he's a master of playing a deck that is amazingly fun and competitive.  You're playing midrange hunter, that deck is very basic in terms of mental engagement, relatively speaking.

You guys know Blizzard has to make money right?

What does "make money" get defined as?  Cause in some instances, it involves massive manipulation tactics to target certain types of people for their psychological traits and exploit them.  Is that "making money"?  Ethically some challenge your notion.

Only thing you can't really get major burned on is Legends, cause if they're bad they're bad but you won't open another.  Making a couple sets of epics only to get them in a pack a month later is the ultimate kick in the groin.

At worst, some info on your opponent's deck.  At best, value for days.

Ask yourself how much entertainment you'll get out of Octopath, then ask yourself if spending the same on hearthstone packs will bring the same level of satisfaction.

posted a message on What do you want from the Boomsday Expansion

As long as the new warrior hero card is solid, I'll be invested to see if warrior can mix things up.  Do to that they need value and lots of it, so we'll see.  Druids are so dang strong I don't see how anything can exist outside that vacuum.

posted a message on Is this a new hero card?

If were going by the logic of Year of the Raven (blizzard logic), they teased Hagatha in exactly the same way and she was a playable hero card.  Might be early but I'm getting the hype train started on this, I'll be theory-crafting whatever they throw at us to shake the meta up.

I think most of you are mistaking where this card will be used for the most part. Aggro shaman will love this card. Cause 6 mana 3/3 with  Pyroblast into the face is quite powerful finisher, but obviously shaman atm is lacking aggro cards, we will see what expansion brings.

This guy gets it.  This is the new evolve power level type of card that will define decks.  They made it a 3/3 for 3, they knew it would be amazing and versatile.

Serioulsy best meta since a long time. But meh, always have that kind of guy...

There's 4 viable deck druid out there and all classes are present. Seriously, I cannot ask more.

If there isn't someone always looking critically then how would things improve; instead you make a personal attack that I'm some kind of bad person for doing this.  I'm still positive about the meta overall and I said as much; just fyi being critical doesn't equate being negative, try to learn that before you go accusing people of doing something you consider wrong.

Only 1 player didn't have Druid; overall good meta but hopefully they can normalize Druid, unlikely as that is.

posted a message on Should I craft the Black Knight?

It would suck if you craft Black Knight, and in 3 months or 6 months you feel bad cause there's a legend you REALLY want but are short on dust.  Black knight won't make or break the deck so the question is: will you always be happy you have it?

posted a message on Replacements for level up

The fact is the best card in Odd pally is Level up, simply because the synergy with the hero power is insane.  I don't have any data but I imagine you'll drop multiple percentage points on your winrate by omitting the card.  Things like Cobalt Scalebane will help with your general strategy, but given you're running a few underpowered cards, I'd say stick with it until you can afford the Level Ups, cause they really are core.

posted a message on Is Shudderwock dead?

Shudderwock will be more relevant in Standard when they make cards that compliment it, and not forcing a player to make a control/combo deck.  It's basically like Exodia mage right now with volcano's for blizzards...seems lame by definition but hopefully the next expansion will fix this.

posted a message on Would You Be So Kind...

My only issue with aggro decks is the most degenerate ones become vastly representational of the meta, and it happens right away.  Odd rogue and odd paladin are the go-to aggro decks now, just like mean streets pirate warrior or ungoro aggro druid/evolve shaman.  Certain decks in my opinion are more degenerate based on their power level in relation to the meta, but that has nothing to do with denigrating those who play them, writing off their ability to play the deck as inconsequential.  You may think you're a genius for passing a turn while piloting a control deck, and I could argue that instills the same kind of laziness in playing the deck as people portend that aggro decks create.

So Blizzard teasing something that will happen on July 12.

Probably a new expansion (FINALLY), are you hyped yet? :D

Also, how much gold did you earn so far without spending it, what is your plan when the new expansion drops, buying packs with real money or stick with your hard earned gold? I personally have 7600 gold at the moment and im sitting on 17 classic packs from brawls.
If Blizzard will be generous (LOL) i will probably be able to open ~100 packs all together when the expansion comes out, and maintain a healthy amount of gold(i never go under 2000 for some reason :D). Being F2P is not that harsh after all.
This is the best part in the game for me, opening a bunch of packs all at once, having fun in the first few days, and then raging against the new cancer decks for ~3 months, oh boy i cant wait :D

ill open 400 packs and have every card like I always do on day one. Not being F2P is great. I support the game so the F2P community can rage for the next three months.

You say support like it's some mum and pop operation.  You're just throwing money into the corporate vacuum and convincing yourself its "support".

Also find it funny that it's completely lost on you that without the F2P community you'd see the community cut in half, where the whales can play other whales and compare how many goldens they have.  That's cool and all, but that's not hearthstone.  Collection management is a real thing, you don't do it cool but don't denegrate how MOST people play this game.  Just makes you look like an insensitive tool.

...the useful idiots abound.....have fun for the next three months......your mind was bought years ago kiddo.

You say support like it's some mum and pop operation.  You're just throwing money into the corporate vacuum and convincing yourself its "support"

corporate vacuum.....you can't make this shit up... it's too good. Go fight the power kiddo....nobody cares...I laugh at YOU...I LAUGH AT YOU....

You do realize your response makes YOU look rather immature and thin skinned.  Everyone with a brain knows when someone stats calling someone kid or kiddo in a demeaning way they've lost all credibility cause decent people don't resort to that kind of name calling.  Your money converted into packs goes predominately into the corporate coffers, in other words the salary of the top executives, which proportionally are insane.  This is how the corporate world works on every level in every example.  Call it what you want but I was clear in what I was describing.  You do you though bud, which is apparently someone who is incapable of being reasonable.  Cheers.
