Also your logic that "oh he only has 55 thousand subs, how could anyone be jealous of that", he has success genius, jealous people will always take issue with other's success.  Finally, I find it hilarious that you dismiss the toxicity of the hearthpwn forum community, I was a dedicated poster here for years, just couldn't take the awful takes and blatently bigotry. There's a reason these forums are basically just reddit with even shittier formatting.

The same thing happened with MTG last year, look up Lurrus Companion Vintage ban.  They either don't playtest anywhere near enough, or they are simply ambivalent to what changes these OP cards will make on their respective formats.

the hearthstone community is embarrassing unfortunately, the HS reddit proves that with their excessive and endless toxicity.  Shouldn't be surprising there's that kind of thing here, gamers don't want their little boys club challenged, and will bring up a number of dubious point just to keep gatekeeping women.

You have to ask yourself two questions: do you trust Team 5? Do you trust Team 5 to strike an appropriate balance?

Whatever bias you possess will factor into your answer, but I'll state this: in an expansion about Old Gods, only 1 of the Old Gods is 'kinda' playable.  That's not cynicism.

Hope there's some good opinions out there on this matter still lurking around hearthpwn.

As a subscriber to Zeddy, this is how i interpret his personality with the whole nerf everything view on things. 

Zeddy is a casual gamer, not exactly a pro player who is technically forced to praise the game. He gets frustrated like everyone else and voices his opinion on it. He really started to grow about 2 years ago for this "I was blacklisted by Blizzard" era, and he was. He showed proof that he was blocked by a lot of the development team. However last year he and Blizzard came to an agreement and now everything is fine between them. I do believe the duels reveal was his first or second so he's kind of new to it all. 

I've been to a couple of his streams and he complains there too, but his community teases him for it, he teases back, etc. I would say Zeddy is [wrestling reference incoming] like the CM Punk or Stone Cold Steve Austin of the Hearthstone content creator community, always speaking out against things that are dominating the meta game, and sometimes it can seem like that's all he does but it isnt. He's genuinely a good guy who won't bullshit you and that's very respectable, think of him as the voice of the voiceless for Hearthstone.

I will admit though, some things he rants about can get to be a little much, and you won't agree but in all honesty, that's fine. If a creator isn't for you, then no need to call him out on a forum like this where he's likely not going to see it. Just don't subscribe and move on. (He also grows because of giveaways out of his pocket, so there's that.)

TL;DR: Zeddy is very outspoken and can seem like an angry troll who got attention because of giveaways, but he's been through a lot, and has layers, like an onion.

e) Despite it being a corporation, I wouldn't want the end goal of the product, the game, to be money and profit but the promotion of gaming as an art form and as a means to soothe the soul in these troubling, difficult times. I would want it to be 100% free with no microtransactions, no paid cosmetics and free expansions. Also guaranteed support for at least 50 years and live servers, in case I want to show my grandchildren what I used to play when I was their age. Now if the creators want to give back to the community and send me some pocketmoney through PayPal or credit card for playing the game it would be considered a plus.

Thanks in advance for providing me with the crucial information every sane gamer would need before enjoying their hobby. I know you guys are really up to date with all that so it won't be that troublesome.

EDIT: Stop sending me private messages about how the game works, the art, the world building, the sound and other irrelevant stuff. We are here for the activism, not to actually play the game.

Trump said that all these lawsuit thing is bad and he will not reveal his card in his video and his next sentence was "Show must go on." and he continued to review revealed cards. Sorry but what is the point? If "show must go on", why don't you reveal your card? Lol If it is a that bad situation so you can't reveal your card, why you still continue to review/play/stream Hearthstone? 

Watch Alliestraza's video, where she makes the case. I find it compelling, and I applaud her decision.

Why? Because reveal week gives these steamers a bigger platform than usual and, as it has been written, with great power comes great responsibility. With accusations of this level of seriousness (and let's be honest - the odds of it all being true are almost unity) it isn't the time for the usual whimsy she brings to her reveal. It isn't the time to celebrate.

It's time to tell the community that she cares, that we should care too. That some things mean more than a game.

Allie and Eddy brought reveal week to a halt, and let us have this conversation rather than ooh and ahh at the pretty new card designs. That's the right thing to have done.

I don't know, dude, I seriously want to believe they are not guilty of anything, but this time things are on another level. For the moment, I lost all interest in Hearthstone.
