There are 6 lackeys and 44 dragons in standard... So, the odds of generating Draconic Lackey, and then Dragonqueen Alex is 1 in 264. Then it's dead in your hand if you're not running Highlander until you play out duplicates.
Sorry just to clarify - dragon lackey lets you discover 1 of 3 unique choices so it's a better chance. Been a while since I've taken statistics but if I remember, it's 1-(% chance to draw):
RNG affects your short term win rate but not your long term. This is how poker pros exist. The short term luck keeps the bad players coming back because they don't realize they are losing while the pros continue to grind. Games with less RNG and higher skill cap such as draw poker are not as popular because the bad players get cleaned out faster.
I haven't faced much winged guardian in arena but twin tyrant should definitely be removed or at least significantly reduced. It's just such a dominating card.
The main identity of Hearthstone Standard was: "Here's a Classic Set that will be used forever."
I think it was more about the sets in play being current so that you don't need to collect all of the old cards. As those power levels fluctuate problematic cards will need to be addressed from time to time.
I didn't watch it yet, but I also do not have any issues with being spoilered. So I watched the brief review of Filmento. I think he explains well what technically went wrong without ranting. I probably will still watch it, but my expectations are low. Which actually might make it better for me...
He makes good points and I agree with all of the things he said. However I think there were more low points. For example, episode 2 was long and boring, waiting for episode 3. When they broke out in song I said to my wife, "You can tell George Martin is no longer involved".
In episode 3 the battle was far too long and uninteresting.
Arya could have killed the night king but it would have been MUCH better if she had taken the face of one of his guards and surprised him that way rather than jumping out of nowhere. This would tie in with her time with the faceless.
And how can we leave out Bran taking over as king. It makes no sense at all. Bran is supposed to have transcended above all of this and now he's interested in ruling?
I went a step further. I own every legendary, so I dusted her and bought 2 60 packs with wow gold. I then deleted her every time I pulled her 12 times in total. I am now 28k dust richer. I think this is the best way to stockpile dust. Thoughts?
My thought is that you didn't get one legendary every 10 packs. Good idea though for anyone that has all of the cards I just wouldn't count on getting more than 3-4 for this price.
Wish when they release something on a date they done it at midnight pretty much the whole day has gone before it’s released. Still it’s the first time in a while I’m looking forward to hearths single player it looks good
Completely agree with this - Ill have to wait for tomorrow to try it out - could have been playing it when I woke up untill now.
Easier said than done. If they released it at midnight the team(s) would have to be putting things in place around 10-11 pm and then monitor for the next few hours after midnight to make sure there were no issues that would require a hotfix/rollback. Makes much more sense for them to come into work, push the release, and monitor throughout the day.

1 - (43/44 * 42/43 * 41/42) = ~7%

For most of us, this is fine and I include myself in this category.
For those competing for the top spots where their edge is marginal, it is an essential purchase.

False! You can play on a tablet/laptop/phone in the bathroom... ;-)

Bring it, I need dust! :-)

Nozdormu - If this card is in your deck players only have 15 seconds to take their turns.

More with brewmaster shenanigans.

I hope that just once I get to see an opponent play this with Auchenai Soulpriest on the board.

I can only hope this would be excluded from arena picks.

Yeah - thats' the only thing I don't like about this brawl. It should be game time.
