iandakar posted a message on Am I the only one who's unsatisfied with Blizzard's new expansion philosophie?Posted in: General DiscussionQuote from Darkrage95 >>Maybe i'm just getting bored of ungoro then and the tons of aggro and always the same decks i see there, so I can't wait the next expansion. :/
That's fine. That's sort of the point of a discussion: to present viewpoints, provide evidence based on them, and to learn more about others and ourselves. So overall this thread is a success. As to the topic at hand, Un'Goro is actually rather impressive in that it only JUST got stale, right before the next expansion. Typiically we get into the funk you are in about a month and a half in.Still though, the combination of playing the same meta for months along with seeing all of the new cards that you can learn about but can't actually touch (REALLLLLYYYY doesn't help when you see those packs full of those cards right next to the pack opener that you can't move. How the #)(*$(*# do pre-order folks handle seeing 50?) makes going back to the old meta..messy.Myself I staved it off a good bit by playing Wild (I really had a hard time getting into this expansion early on) then moving to Standard once I saw some tournament decks that were very interesting. Though I also play VERY casually (as in 'struggle to complete a quest before having a full set'. Note I've been that way since Beta). Here's to hoping the theory of it being on the 10th is correct. Until then, consider your gameplay as an attempt to get a big more gold for moar packs. -

Dr_Horus posted a message on Dragon-Spell Priest [Control]Posted in: Dragon-Spell Priest [Control]Hey again, my current win rate with this deck for this season is 62-25 (71%) and I made it as far as rank 8 on the 8th of june, but since then, been only playing wild do complete my daily quest, as I didn't had much time to play. I'm confident this list can make it to 5 without altering it, but can't say for rank 5 to legend how it would perform. Hope this satisfies your curiosity :)

Dr_Horus posted a message on Dragon-Spell Priest [Control]Posted in: Dragon-Spell Priest [Control]Hello! You could give it a try, but in my humble opinion, we don't really need an extra one, as we may discover copies of it using Shadow Visions. What I like about Holy Nova is that it help keeping a board presence plus drawing a few more cards if combined with Northshire Cleric, as well as providing an earlier token removal. I mean, you only need one Radiant Elemental to enable a Nova on turn 4, which is game breaking against Pirate Warriors, Token Shaman & Druids - but feel free to experiment and adapt the list to your need. Hope this may help.

ZZ0di posted a message on Loyans Jade Shaman / Easy LegendPosted in: Loyans Jade Shaman / Easy LegendNo need for bloodlust, win condition is high jade golems.
As Loyan said in a comment below, Bloodlust is most effective against reno decks, which are not very popular on this meta.

LDanarkos posted a message on [RANK 5] Midrange Jade LotusPosted in: [RANK 5] Midrange Jade LotusBloodmage Thalnos could be replaced by Mistress of Mixtures, Acidic Swamp Ooze, Feral Spirit, second Lightning Storm, or Mana Tide Totem. I haven't really played a lot with the latest build that's posted, so I don't know whether it needs more help against control or aggro.
Thunder Bluff Valiant is in the deck because it's a nuts late game, high-value card. I am personally playing Bloodlust instead. But I think Reno Lock has started playing more anti-aggro cards, so Bloodlust hasn't been making the match-up an automatic win like it used to. White Eyes is also another expensive option that helps more against aggro decks, if this build needs the help; but it's a double-edged sword against Priest since they could Entomb your 10/10.

On the other hand if you mill only one candle, your darkness is just dead.

Could you share your ele mage with us? I'd like to try a working version :D

Yes. That's exactly what I was curious of! :)

Thank you for your answer! What are your winrates with this deck and how far did you go with it on ladder?

What do you think of changing a holy nova for a dragonfire potion? It helps a lot in most cases, where holy nova doesnt clear, and its essential against those dirty quest rogues.

Yeah, sure they wouldn't do 2 cards with exactly the same effect. I guess the deathrattle will disappear from the original minion.

Why do you say this? What are your experiences with it?

Thank you for your help!

Why no bloodlust in this deck? Shamans play it a lot since the aggro downfall. What is the win condition without it? Shouldnt we add it?

It's almost impossible to beat handlock, reno mage, and dragon/reno priest with this deck... what do i miss? how should i encounter them (im stuck at rank 15)? Does white eyes fit in this deck?
