That said it's weird to weigh winning a big comp the same as winning a mini comp. Maybe we should make a point system? We could also attribute points for making it to the finals
If you want a point system, here's a rough idea I just made.
Regular Competitions

Finalist
10
Third
20
Second
30
Winner
50
Mini Competitions
Position

Side Competitions

Second
70

Big Competitions

Season Finale

Point values can be adjusted.
Since all your numbers are multiples of 10 you may as well get rid of a zero. Let's not have overly big numbers.
Here's what I imagine.
Regular Competitions & Side competitions (no reasons to evaluate them differently imo)
Hey, does my submission break the "don't submit winner cards" rule? I wanted to make the fluffy version of one of my cards, and I thought a winner would be more recognizable, but didn't realize it could be problematic until now.
I'm inclined to say Yes, it does break that rule, but A. it's a Mini Comp, and B. HearthPwn is almost over and done with, so I don't necessarily care enough to enforce that rule so strictly. Just don't win, and we'll be okay lol
When I saw Wailor's card as well as Shadowsofsense's 2-mana Cowardly Knight, I really thought the goal was to take an existing finalist and make a "fluffy" version of it. I re-read the rules several times before I understood that it was just a coincidence.
I remember when TrumpSC reviewed "fluffy" cards because the names weren't out yet. Hearthpwn's audience is bigger than I thought.
I'm surprised CheeseEtc hasn't done his typical Season Finale review yet.
I've stopped doing them two seasons ago because they are super time-consuming and tend to cause controversy. If you wonder which cards I prefer - other than my own Spirit Cleanser and I'd Tap That obviously - then my favorites are Cowardly Knight (my bet for season winner, although it leans on OP), Romeo & Juliet, & Shouting Match. Honorable mention to Phoenix's rager card.
Fun fact:
Garona
actually exists in WoW lore. I took her because she was obviously based on Gamora (almost the same name, green, alien, assassin, adopted and raised by a genocidal maniac).
That said it's weird to weigh winning a big comp the same as winning a mini comp. Maybe we should make a point system? We could also attribute points for making it to the finals. There are people who always make it to the finals but never win (hi Tox, hi Kovachut).

There must have been a lot of workplace drama and angry emails involved.

Senior mods are Curse employees?

This is also the name of my favorite Hentai.

Oh shit, I missed that part. Way to end my "career" on my first ever DQ.
I voted for Hephaestus. It's interesting gameplay-wise and has good flavor (though I'd have preferred if it were WoW-related).

Wait, why am I not in here? 1-upvote cards are here.

Control Warrior vs. Conjurer Mage.
He plays Acolyte of Pain. I mill him for 2 cards with Dyn-o-matic, lol.
He plays Astromancer and gets Catrina Muerte, except his only dead minion so far is the Acolyte. Mill him for 2 again, lol.
Volontarily lets Catrina and Astromancer alive so that she brings Acolyte again, mills him for 2 again, lol.

Guess who's back? Back again?

Partial removal.
Can also be used on friendly minions to protect them from incoming AOEs, or in synergy with Khadgar .

We live in the darkest timeline.

Someone had to do it.

I hope I won't be penalized for being on page 2.
