posted a message on Hearthstone Patch 5.2.2 - Free Packs Event?

Of course you can add them. And I really don't see how this bug could be something intentional. If it's not a bug, then it's the most retarded decision ever made in a game. It should either show the name or be blank - what the hell is "unknown".... The most disturbing thing is that no one from Blizzard has even commented on that...

posted a message on Hearthstone Patch 13619 - Recruit a Friend, Shaman Hero, New Co-Op Brawl

You're doing it wrong, Blizzard... Releasing a referral program 2+ years after the release of the game is pointless at minimum, and I can even say it is absolutely retarded.

    | guess Brode just saw the income numbers dropping low because of their inadequate decisions and poor management of the game, so what do you think we need?!

    - New and better cards? - no
    - Balancing the meta and current cards - no
    - Listen to what the community has to say and offer - no
    - Nerf retarded OP cards - no
    - Introduce a referral program to give you advertising, for which you will not move you ass a bit or spend a penny - YES, LORD, YES!!!!

All this is going to lead to is a huge influx of fake and smurf accounts. I am really baffled by the decisions made.

posted a message on Brode on Adding Cards to Classic Set, Deck Spotlights: Patron Warrior, Dragon Shaman, MalyLock

Cards should definitely be added to the basic/classic set overtime. But only cards that have proven to be with no good alternatives and cards that supplement various different play styles/archetype, not defining ones like Mysterious Challenger for example.

Otherwise the dev and card design team will have to redo same cards with different names all over again for every other expansion/adventure, because when certain cards rotate out and there's no viable replacement, a whole archetype goes in the trash can and we are left with very little variety once again.

I feel the introduction of standard was not what they hoped to be. Not sure about the rest of you, but I have been playing both modes and find MUCH MORE variety and different decks, cards, and archetypes in Wild vs. Standard.

Standard now revolves around a very limited number of decks/archetypes - mostly aggro + C'thun Druid. It's so boring and cumbersome to ladder and grind there. And I even find the tournaments now more boring.

In wild you never know what you can expect, and what type, class, or flavor you are going to play against, which makes it much funnier, challenging, and with a lot more replay value.

As commented earlier in the thread, A LOT of classes don't have the tools to cope with the other classes, once certain cards are cycled out. If they don't add cards to the basic set over time, they will be playing this everlasting game of catching up and trying to balance the classes, which will be impossible, since the ones that will have more recently added "OP" cards (to cope with previous faults in lack of good cards for the class) will always be on top until the next phase out. For example what happened with Shaman.

In my opinion this whole Standard/Wild thing would have been completely meaningless and useless if Blizzard had the balls and skills to properly balance/update their cards along the way. One would think that a digital CCG would aim to do exactly this, since you can deploy all changes to all players all over the world simultaneously and everyone is at equal terms, but... it seems greed (for the laughably small amounts of dust they have to recover as "compensation" when a nerf occurs) is above user experience, balance, variety, and healthy meta.

posted a message on ShiftCon - Tavern Brawl #55

I liked the brawl. It's yet another RNG fest, but at least this one is much more replayable and requires much more skill/thinking than Randomonium. I also like the art of Shifter Zerus, he's very cute. Not one of the best brawls, but not one of the worst either. I gave it a couple of tries - all games were unpredictable and funny - which, for me at least, is what Brawl should be.

posted a message on Entomb text should be fixed
    Quote from ShadowsOfSense >>
    Quote from CaHgO >>
    Quote from xavielson >>

IMO its fine, it says "Shuffle it", not "Shuffle a copy". Also if i red "Remove an enemy minion" i would think that the minion is killed in the process.

That's why I wrote "remove it from the board and shuffle it into your deck". I think this is the optimal and most clear explanation of what the card does.

And commenting also @hqql's note - I see your logic, but for me "Shuffle" on its own is not enough. OK, maybe for experienced players and people used with the Hearthstone meta, community and slang, this is pretty clear and more than enough. However for new players (I play since beta and text sounds hell of a confusing to me) or people not used to all the mechanics and slight wording variations around them, "shuffle" means nothing. Shuffle is not a self-descriptive word on its own and neither is the whole text of the card. The fact that this topic exists and there are contradictory opinions is enough to prove that, so I think my proposition is much better as it leaves absolutely no room for uncertainty as to what the card really does.
What exactly is it about the word 'shuffle' that confuses you? I am a native English speaker, so perhaps I have some advantage there, but to me it's entirely unambiguous what that term means - you take the card, it gets shuffled into the deck. You know it's not a copy because of the numerous other cards that distinctly mention copies - Gang Up, Thoughtsteal etc. - and you even have the direct parallel of Recycle (whose wording I still think Entomb should just be a copy of).

Where is it that you're finding ambiguity in the card text? I'm genuinely interested in knowing, because I'm used to seeing complaints about Poisoned Blade and Steamwheedle Sniper - which are terribly worded - but I hadn't expected complaints about Entomb, beyond wondering why it isn't just a copy of Recycle, which was complained about, at some point. Possibly by me.
I am not a native speaker, so perhaps it's one side of the problem, but for me it's not just the word "shuffle". It's how the whole sentence/text is put together. I think the word "choose" is the more problematic one, not "shuffle".

Cause it says "choose an enemy minion" - choose it from where?! From the board, from the set, from your hand...??? Not clear. And then "Shuffle it in your deck". To me this text doesn't correctly (or fully) describe what the card actually does - it should definitely be more clear that you are REMOVING an enemy minion FROM THE BOARD AND shuffling it in your deck.

Of course, with time and experience people get well aware what it does and you don't even have to read the text, but for the sake of new players and being precise and unambiguous, then the current text is still not good in my view.
