OTK style decks were always a plague for Hearthstone and it feels optimistic that they wish to address that.
As for board clears? I am not entirely convinced. Sure there may be a couple over-efficient board clears, but they are restricted in certain classes and they serve as gatekeepers. For they keep a terrible and ancient evil at bay, which will rise again in a whim, should we leave it unchecked.
I speak of the plague of the Aggro decks.

What? Reno is not a problem?!?! I have never gone ooh no the opponent played reno now I loose wtf. Reno is fine and helps remove those annoying domant pitlords, locations and that portal from warlock titan. I hope they just nerf the board restriction because that part is not really that important.

The current meta both in Standard and Wild would be largely fixed if they include a new rule as when they did with Elusive: don't let cards reduce mana costs to 0 (unless that's the original cost of the card), make mana crystals a thing again and don't let people play solitaire with insane cost reduction cards like Flash of Lightning and that would make meta MUCH HEALTHIER

Wild will be broken beyond any boundaries after this expansion. They just completely lost it and at this point release (due to a complete lack of creativity) not just utterly OP, but plain retarded shit to make up for the rotations in Standard. Not just for Rogue, but overall. I've been playing since beta and this is the most broken expansion ever.

So something like aa 6-charge Zephrys. However, the usefulness of the spells will be subpar, unless there is a board to clear. It is also limited to just mage spells - so just more endless turns, spamming secrets, and the ocasional freezing. All of which are such wonderful and interactive mechanics...
