In music, one doesn’t make the end of the composition, the point of the composition. If that were so, the best conductors would be those who played fastest, and there would be composers who wrote only finales. People would go to concerts just to hear one crashing chord—because that’s the end! -Alan Watts
Thats what Hearthstone is becoming these days, one crashing chord. Draw your entire deck, mana cheat your entire hand, and go face or easily reach overpowered win condition (with long animations so its actually kinda hard to pull off sometimes, yeah hearthstone is becoming an apm game). And whats up for the future? They do like their power creep don't they? Making decks that end the game in turn 3-5 instead of turn 6-9?
I don't like the state of the game right now, not sure if its the worst ever but its pretty bad. I don't like quest cards because they feel very single player like to either play against or to play yourself.

You can win with anything. The important thing is, do you enjoy it. If you do, continue. If not, dont.
3
The OTK potential is pretty good here. I like it.

At this point HS is just fancy solitaire.

I have to agree with OP. This expansion killed the game that i knew, as far as interaction goes. There has always been combo decks that did their thing, but this is just another level of stupidity. I give it a few weeks, and everyone will be playing either mage, hunter, paladin or warlock for the simple reason that they dont need to interact with their opponent at all. Theres simply no point, trying to build anything else. Blizzard has already decided, which decks work and which doesnt via the quests. I really wanted this expansion to work, but it doesnt. I see that decks are powerful, but powerful does not equal fun. Not at all. Deck building is dead. Theres no reason to experiment, and trying anything else. If you try, you get steamrolled.

The priest quest is completely irrelevant. Any quest that doesnt win quickly enough is pretty much useless now. Solitaire yo

Simple. Oh My Yogg! and Counterspell kills my enthusiasm for the game. It is simply too frustrating.
If frustration > enjoyment then I dont play.

Wild is an entirely different matter. The amount of tools are much larger, in wild and this allows control to exist.

100% win rate, 12 games.

Blood Knight is happy about this.

I dont like it. Honestly, getting steamrolled by treasures and overpowered hero powers just doesnt do it for me.
