posted a message on The Enrage Keyword is Being Removed From Hearthstone

It's important to differentiate keywords that are/will become more common as more cards are released for Hearthstone. I too think that "Can't be Targeted by Spells or Hero Powers" has the potential to be summarised by a keyword. My understanding of the situation is that if it's not something we can expect to see a lot of in the future, the description seems fitting enough as it is.

Removing Enrage as a keyword is a bit of a backwards move IMO, as it is already a decently established keyword that sees rather limited play.

All in all, "Has X while damaged" isn't that bad of a change; It's short and to the point without the use of one word to lock it down. It can still be printed on cards in the future, but I might take a while getting used to it.

posted a message on World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth Available for Pre-Order - Hearthstone Card Back Arrives

I am super butthurt that there isn't a way for players to purchase card backs in Hearthstone.

That card back sure looks cool and all, but I can't warrant a pre-purchase for a game I don't play to have it.

posted a message on [+ Marin The Fox] JUNGLE GIANTS ARE COMMING

Since the new October patch I have noticed that Celestial Dreamer does not trigger the quest count.

Unsure if this also then applies to Shellshifter, since it is a Transform effect and not a 'gain +2/+2' effect.

Got my idea from Sword of Justice. The initial concept of durability loss is present with a higher criteria to activate the stated effect, combined with a steep mana cost equals... well...

Not sure if too slow or OP. It's a Warrior Weap- uh, stance...

I like the idea of running one copy of a card but getting two copies out of it, if you can meet the steep quota - precious face health.

It goes without saying: if you can't survive the damage then you'll inevitably die from drawing this card. Hero immunity would be key to playing this card, especially for the class that is renowned for sacrificing health to gain any advantage possible.

NB: The 'copy' does not deal 8 damage to your hero, since it is summoned and not drawn.

posted a message on 60 Packs

    Here's a few tips:

    • Use that Spacebar! Hit the spacebar instead of clicking on "Done" after each pack to instantly queue another pack!
    • Remember the new card names! Opening 60 packs will give you plenty of time to remember those common card names and, oh boy are they going to be common!
    • Dust gallore! Not happy with your haul? Opened 99+ Fire Fly? No Problem! You'll get a moderate amount of dust from a 60 pack opening, even though it's a new set. Feel free to bank on crafting at least 1 extra Legendary Card this way, give or take an Epic or two.
    • Low expectations! Expect to open around 1-3 Legendary Cards from a 60 pack burst. You might strike gold and even get doubles, which in turn is more dust. You get the idea.
    • Full House! Completing the set maximises your future-potential dust gain from additional packs, and 60 packs will certainly help you to do just that.

With that said, I'm not buying 60 packs this time around. Given the recent financial changes that Blizzard have made I think that's pretty self-explanatory.

posted a message on Mind Vision OP?

I run Mind Vision because I like the RNG, however:

Paying N+1 (N is the mana cost of the card you copy) for a random card your opponent is holding just isn't gamebreaking enough to warrant such enthusiasm. The concept of copying another class's quest is certainly unique and it may be fun to try and pull it off, but in the grand scheme of things I know that I would rather copy a card I can utilise now over a card that will come into play later (if ever).

    posted a message on test

What the hell is going on? I visit this site for information on trending decktypes and news about upcoming content, and a 'test' deck made by a member of staff(?) is getting over 1000+ upvotes.

It's not even the best deck out there I mean come on, Claw is so two thousand and fifteen.

I like the idea (silly as it is) for a card to dazzle and surprise all who dare to play it for the simplicity of dumping your deck directly into play with a spectacular array of spells and confusion. Lawsuits and Court Orders would surely ensue. And all for just 7 mana.

In short, Dr. Agon takes the randomness (but never the fun) out of Yogg-Saron, Hope's End. And it's a Dragon why not, sheesh!

Please Note: Side effect when using Dr. Agon may include, but are not limited to: loss of spell cards, loss of board prescence, fatal damage, interruption of Battlecry effect (similar to Yogg). Please read the manual before playing.

posted a message on What is more important?

I have not yet voted as the differences between the card options are nominal at best. We would need to know how your matches are fairing and if things like card draw, or 1 point of damage could really make the difference.

Bloodmage Thalnos has card draw over Kobold Geomancer but that's pretty much it. If you feel like you need that little bit of draw then I would say go ahead and craft him - Can be useful in a variety of decks.

Leeroy Jenkins has 1 extra point of damage but if you're not going to finish the opposing Hero when you play him then maybe Reckless Rocketeer might be your best bet. The 1/1 whelps that are summoned are more than enough to wipe out Leeroy (as the story goes) and so sometimes the card defeats itself in a way. The Rocketeer doesn't have the 1/1s attached but has one less damage. If you feel like you need that damage, go for Leeroy.
