Hearthpwn

I remembered being sad when the Heroes of the Storm curse website shut down.  I never imagined that Hearthpwn would be next.  I'm quite sad.

Yeah.  Plus getting him for free just means another 10000 gold saved for when i eventually own all heroes.  Though his playstyle probably only works with premades.  Qm players usually ignore his portals.

I have Khadgar already but I'm jealous of the HOTS rewards.  3 lootboxes and Medivh is a pretty good HOTS promo. 

Is it me or are dungeon runs a bit easier than they said.  I got defeated a few times but I managed to get two wax ragers as hunter and it was a breeze.  I also had Kel Thuzad so at the final boss I literally had a full board of wax ragers.  My suggestions for best active is wax rager because bosses never target them and you can do a lot of damage just by going face with them.

Also Valustraz or whatever the dragon round 8 boss is really easy to beat with wax ragers.  All you have to do is ignore the treasure chests and keep hitting him with wax ragers.  Since he only has spots for like two minions you can easily use ur wax rager to kill his scale banes and what not.

Poor man's hogger.

I have about four of those legendaries and 100 dust.  Not to mention all the new KOTFT epics and rares.  RIP

My guess is: kids. There is a decent amount of older players, who have better things to do than taunting a random person on the internet... but kids, they're just stupid, it's only natural.

 

I can only say that Fierce Monkey is good.  The rest is trivial, at best.  Maybe not entomb or mounted raptor or the Ethereal Conjurer and Raven Idol, i still have to say that only the Fierce Monkey seems good.  And murloc tinyfin gets cutest flipping thing ever.  Like if u taunted it up no one would kill it, if they did they should be banned from the community for being heartless.  So maybe murloc tinyfin is the best card actually.

I guess the point is, if I didn't know about Hearthstone until now, I find it hard to believe I would stick around for too long.

Thoughts on the new player experience and how it gets worse (in my opinion) with every expansion and adventure that comes? Would you stick around if you came in this late in the game?

For those that weren't around in plain ol' Classic, when did you come in, and how did you find your new player experience?

I have reached rank 3 or 2 with a 90% completed set (some legendaries missing) on my EU account (main)

that same season (without grinding) I have reached rank 8 on my NA account (free to play) with a total of 12 packs opened.

It's not pay to win, it's pay to advance, in the end the game is still 90% skill and 10% good cards.

well then your better than me.  cuz ive been playing for about a year now and i have a pretty decent collection and so do most of my friends, yet my highest rank is still about 16 and my highest arena wins is only 8.  So i dont know how u do it but u must be pretty pro.

How can the variance be annoying.  I mean I get the fact that some people like it nice and steady but the variance is a chance for good things to happen.  There really is no bad variance in these cards.  Unless ur really unlucky and u always get the worst minions.  Then i can understand u!

Very valid point.  Card advantage is everything.  Unless the cards are trash and stay in your hand.  Than that can be pretty annoying.

What cards do you think will be added in this adventure if they decide to release it?

Im curious to what you guys will think will be new in this expansion.  I have no idea what to expect as i do not play WoW and only Hearthstone but i hope the new cards will create some new deck opportunities.
