lnwzamak posted a message on Legend Wild Face Hunter (AntonAmby)Posted in: Legend Wild Face Hunter (AntonAmby)work in mid late season but doesn't work in early season
when strong player already hit rank5 for reward and stop playing or already hit legend
many noob or good standard player testing deck in wild is your food
ppl usually don't notice face hunter and respond your move to slow that mean they already lose
priest t2 coin deathlord into 2nd deathlord or velen and you have no answer to it
chow + power word shield or even with northshire can rekt this deck
vs zoo explosive trap will trigger nerubian egg
and defender of argus force you to trade his minion while he his you facefavor against unlucky secret paladin and unskilled midrange hunter
when they use eaglehorn trade 1-2 of your minnion that mean you already win
many wild deck usually run x2 belcher
if they notice you they will use minion race damage then drop belcher
secret paladin still have 1x coghammer
his turn1 coin secret keeper + noble could slow down your move
good deck fast win fast climb fast result -

WarangelXX posted a message on Standard Secret Paladin (AntonAmby)Posted in: Standard Secret Paladin (AntonAmby)I imagine you're correct about Avenging Wrath. It's a fun card, but maybe not an especially practical one.
Right now I'm testing out: -1 Blessing of Wisdom, -1 Divine Strength / +2 Consecration
I'll see how it goes.

brilliant_gnome posted a message on Why does no one play Secret Paladin in Standard??Posted in: Standard FormatOnly decks that matter in standard are the ones with broken early-game tempo or broken swing turns. The rest can get by passably on a lucky day, and that's about it.

You're not wrong in any way, the aggressive decks that we have today are far to strong - Even the ''old'' Facer Hunter (it actually still exist in wild) required more skill than for example Aggro Shaman to play. :)
I know because i play pretty much all archtypes, and I've played both Face Shaman and Face Hunter recently and the Hunter takes a bit more to play perfectly (only a bit though) - also it get's destroyed by Patron Warrior :D
I actually think that the ''old'' Face Hunter is the best aggro deck that we've ever had for the game. (not saying i don't hate losing to it)
Back in Undertaker days it was too op though - it was just as dumb as Shaman is now...

I started in season 16 and i have reached legend multiple times (i don't play all that much anymore though, got tired of all the rng and now i play another cardgame which atm is better and only play hs for funzies)
The truth about getting to legend is that it's just a REALLY long grind, you will make it if you play enough as long as ur winrate is above 50%
If you're just in for the pack you should play wild though, it's much easier in the low ranks and as everyone plays secret paladin you just have to counter that.. :D
If you choose to play in standard you should play Aggro Shaman btw, it's VERY fast at getting ranks because of the length of the games...
(Good Luck Climbing! Also if you're on EU i can add you and spectate you if you're up for it.) :)

Why is there no Wyrmrest Agent in there? - It's litterally one of the strongest Dragon cards in game... Also where's Twilight Guardian? :D
Other than great deck ^^

Plottwist: It's a reward you get for winning with Priest - That's why no one has it.

You can get to rank 15 with any deck that is tier 3 or above.....
The best classes to make cheap decks in are: Mage, Warrior, Hunter, Shaman and Warlock (zoo warlock that is)
I would recommend a Hybrid Hunter, it's easy to play and it has fairly fast games.
If you wanna learn stuff about the game while playing you should go for ZooLock though.

Yogg-Saron literally just replaces the concede button with a roulette machine.
I think the card has a cool design and i can understand why some people like to play with it - It should just be banned from the competitive part of the game, as it pretty much makes that look like a joke.

It's not Face Shaman, Tempo Mage, Yogg Druid or Warrior. That's what's wrong with it.

You can't defend Yogg.
Only the people who plays him will defend him, it's just like people saying ''pre-nerf patron wasn't op'' - only the people who played it ever said that.
Also the card makes competitive E-sports look like a joke.
