Hi Everyone! - Im back with another guide for you! :D
This is my new Secret Paladin for Standard.
Before you continue reading this guide - I just want to warn you; This deck is for people that have no soul and just want to get to high rank’s quick while their opponent's smack their heads into their keyboards.
_______________________________________________________________________________________
Intro: As we all know Secret Paladin stopped seeing play after Blizzard introduced Standard, this was because the deck lost all of its early game cards.
Good examples of this are: Shielded Minibot, Haunted Creeper, Muster for Battle and to some extent Coghammer. With our newest expansion know as One Night in Karazhan we had a new 1-drop introduced called Arcane Anomaly, this card has extreme synergy with secret’s and other low cost spells. We also got a new 5-drop aka. Avian Watcher, this card is obviously strong when combed with a secret.
This alongside a few more new cards (like Divine Strength) has led to Secret Paladin having a good early game again. _______________________________________________________________________________________
Playstyle: Very simple: Play a lot of early game cards, try and stick to the curve play challenger and kill your opponent.
Oh and, this deck has seventeen 1-mana cards (yes 17, only 6 one mana minions though) so getting draw with Blessing of Wisdom or Divine Favor is very important.

Mulligan: With this deck you want to mulligan for Secretkeeper, Arcane Anomaly and Argent Squire. If you already have one or more of these, you can keep secret’s and 1 mana spells.

I hope that you enjoy this deck, feel free to leave a comment below if you have any questions. Also please give the deck a thumbs up if you liked it, i put a lot of time into making these guides. :)
Could leeroy fit in this deck?
I'd remove either an Avian Watcher or the Truesilver Champion for him. :)
At leasts its not as cancerous as TGT
Update - (midrange-control and C'thun) :
Some people wanted to see a more midrange variant of the deck, also Nowayouthere came up with the idea of trying out C'thun in the deck.
First deck is the Midrange/more Control-ish list, my main goal of this deck was that it should be able to compete with the control decks but still be able to get strong openers. The deck turned out to be a lot slower than the first version i made and with less snowbally starts - but with the ability to come back whenever it's opener got shut down.
I might try making a faster Midrange version too - if anyone is interested.
1st Deck:
The second deck is the one including C'thun and his followers.
The idea behind including C'thun in the deck was that we would be able to play Twin Emperor Vek'lor as our 7-drop (which we had none of before) and have C'thun as an extra finisher against Control decks - and at the same time have a bit better curveing potential.
I really liked playing this version of the deck, it felt like it had a lot more fuel before it ran out of cards while it still had the ability to make snowbally openers, also if you happen to get the dream curve you almost instantly win the game.
2nd Deck:
I had a lot of fun making these, if any of you guys have more ideas for new decks or ways to improve these - do tell ;)
If anyone want me to make any other decks - I'll be glad to give it a try ^^
Also thank you everyone for the great feedback! :)
(I apologize for the long wait time before i got these done, I wanted to refine them a bit before just putting them out there so had to play a good amount of games before i settled on these two versions) :)
Really fun deck. I've always loved Secret Paladin and fully support any efforts to bring it back.
I'm just wondering if this deck could use a wee bit more defense? Would it destabilize the deck too much to go:
-1 Blessing of Wisdom, -1 Divine Strength, -1 Redemption / +2 Consecrate, +1 Avenging Wrath
There are an awful lot of 1 health minions in today's meta and the change above might be a way to combat that.
I agree that the deck could use a bit more defensive tolls like Consecrate (I'm not a huge fan of Avenging Wrath as it's in the same manaspot as challenger), but i wanted to make the deck the deck as snowbally in the early game as possible. I'm currently trying to make a version that is a bit more midrange work. :)
I imagine you're correct about Avenging Wrath. It's a fun card, but maybe not an especially practical one.
Right now I'm testing out: -1 Blessing of Wisdom, -1 Divine Strength / +2 Consecration
I'll see how it goes.
I've tried to make a pair of new versions of the deck, you should be able to find them in the top of the comment section if you're interested. :)
(it doesn't really fit into what the deck wants to do either)
I like the idea of Dr. 7 (Twin Emperor), but I'm not a huge fan of most of the other C'thun cards.. (i like C'thun's Chosen and Disciple of C'thun though) ^^
I've tried making a C'thun version of the deck, you should be able to find it in the top of the comment section if you're interested ^^
Eater of Secrets
Yea, but no one plays that in Standard ;)
1. Deck's with a lot of Secret's are very rare (Secret Hunter is the most popular, but you usually see a lot more Midrange Hunter)
2. Secret Paladin is gone, and we see little to no freeze mage due to the many Aggro deck's and Warriors.
3. It's too expensive for it's stat's when it can't eat anything (2/4 for 4)
Glad you liked it ^^
dude looks funny i love the secret paladin and i actually cant find one who help me to reach ranks over 5 (all of them get crushed when you reach the rank when the real heartstone starts), let me try and ill tell how was it
This one works around rank 5 for me, you just gotta look for good openers (like have a 1-drop like argent squire, arcane anomaly or secretkeeper) and then you'll be able to beat a lot of different decks out there. :)
(like for example Argent Squire/Arcane Aomaly + Divine Strength or Secretkeeper + a bunch of secret's - preferably Noble Sac) :)
