This problem is hugely problem in HS, even with cards like Guess the Weight. Yes, the game checks the requirement for you. So you "must believe" it checked the condition. This shit works only in game with AI control. If it would be physical card game, you would have to show it to opposing player to confirm. So he would know what you draw or not. Same with discover and many effects like this.
I agree with this idea.
No, you would only have to show the mana cost of the card to the opposing player, you could very well hide the name, stats and text.
Lol, can you imagine showing card to your opponent while hiding with other hand its Name, text etc? Imagine it like that. Pretty stupid honestly. Just show the card. It would be better.
I don't see how that's stupid and how it would be better. It's pretty common behavior in physical card games.

Just play less card generation. Great nerf for overtuned mechanic
Card draw has always been stronger than card generation, and you often play card generation when you can't play card draw (like currently shaman and priest).
This whole thread is a joke.
At least you can't draw cards endlessly. Maybe I'm wrong, but in my opinion power level of card generation shouldn't be comparable to card draw to that extent so it's even used as a replacement of card draw
What ? Rogue, mage, warlock, and warrior/druid to a lesser extent, can't draw cards endlessly ? Yes they can.
And if card gen shouldn't be used as a replacement for card draw, then... why should it be used ?

Yes, if you let me see the cards you draw, I'll let you see the cards I generate. Otherwise, no, totally unfair. Why would you see the card that I generated with Venomous Scorpid, but I can't see the cards you got from Refreshing Spring Water ? If that's because I am supposed to know what's in your deck, well, you're supposed to know what's in the scorpid card pool.
