Without Flux many of people have already said that they will leave this site and make their content elsewhere. I don't see why Curse does not just provide the community with what they want. Many of the mods and key content providers have already stated that they want him back.
if Flux doesnt get rehired I have no desire to provide Hearthpwn with any more content for curse to make money off of.
Supported, if you guys leave curse it will be a pretty good strike at its heart.
I would love to but seeing as I was on medical leave due to cancer treatment only to be told today that I will not be allowed back in to my position once I finish this....So yeah dont think that will change any time soon.
I had to deal with the situation and investigate it. If someone is potentially doing super shady stuff with my communities, he's going to be out pretty fast so that users don't get affected. This is why Flux had to go, and it would happen with anyone running communities for me as soon as something that big comes up.
It doesn't mean I'm ignoring him. it doesn't mean I'm not still looking into the situation to gather information. I agree with most of the things said in this thread and I know that Flux is good at a lot of things and that Hearthpwn wouldn't be where it is today without him. That's why I recruited him in the first place.
The info I got over the past few days allowed me to get a decent look at the big picture, I'll probably have an update to give you guys soon but for now please be a little more patient.

Thanks for taking the time and effort and looking at our posts and opinions. I'm sure I speak for a lot of people here when I say that Flux has been a huge miss in the community over the time he has been fired (or whatever you want to call it).
Thanks for taking the time to gather all the correct information, and judge yourself whether he should be fired because of this one-sided witch hunt, or whether all the hard work and effort that he has put in outweighs the negative stuff.
Hope we see Flux soon, looking forward to an update.
I see Boubouille weighed in, and a lot of things I could say have already been said throughout the thread.
I'll comment that whatever sins may have happened -
1. Commercial endorsements &c aside, it's people that make a community. For whatever faults anyone may have, if they're net positive, that's something to think about. Now yes, having someone in a position of authority & responsibility &c, sure, higher standards, but on the other hand, people are human, and on the whole, I think a lot of people would agree Fluxflashor's generally been on the plus side.
2. Success typically comes only when you find people that are willing to press that limit. The PC industry was built on IP developed by Xerox; Facebook and Zynga have tons of semishady stuff in past (and even present), pretty much any major corporation has some "interesting" stories attached to it. Personally I prefer to follow rules, but the fact is, you need someone at the helm that pushes the limits, if you ever want to be successful. Don't take my word for it, just look at any major successful company.
3. If you're in a position of authority, someone eventually will disagree with things you have done and will try to sink you, especially on the internet. It's not a question of "letting the inmates run the asylum", but look at the people complaining, consider how those complaints serve to do the work that needs to be done. The fact is, those complaints are simply feedback - you still need someone that can *do* the work.
4. Relieving someone of their position temporarily is a pretty stock response by higher-ups to show complainants that something has been done; their concerns are being addressed. However, policy must be based on the bottom line, not on frivolous complaints. The more management caves to casual complaints, the more they will move to the "provide high quality goods and services for free" model. Again, the question is where people draw the line.

If you see a post that you find objectionable, report it, it helps keep the forum clean. But be aware people are allowed a lot of latitude.
If you find my posts to be rude, objectionable, or whatever, well, I got tired of writing polite TL; DR (Too Long, Didn't Read) posts at crybaby whiners. So now I just make it short and nasty.
If you find that funny, well and good. If you find that sad, that's even better.

Okay everyone that cares, I will no longer post any decks or guides until Flux is back I am sorry, but curse really doesn't know how to handle things.
I found another place to write my guides...
Considering that you have the top decks on HearthPwn, I think Curse should maybe consider doing what we ALL want, instead of losing an amazing member of staff and one of the best content producers on here.
Is where I am writing my guides now I am not saying you should stop using hearthpwn just where I am going to write for...
Although I don't want to come across like I'm blackmailing Curse I am starting to wonder if I want to post my Guides here anymore, I actually have 4 fully written guides all ready for posting but since they won't even make an official statement about Fluxflashor its starting to get irritating for me.

/signed. Reddit is stupid. Why would real gamers care about a gossip website for girls? Dumb move Curse.

The problem is only 5% of Hearthpwn Visitors are Forum users, the active people we all know and care about.

Really crappy way to treat someone who has dedicated so much of their time.
