Basically, you get to purchase card packs, loot boxes for other games or Amazon gift cards in exchange for your time spent watching advertisements. I've downloaded it to try it out; so far it works as advertised, although I think I'll have to play for about 5 hours to have enough to buy 2 booster packs...
Although, I saw a comment on one of their Youtube tutorial vids suggesting this was a front to install cryptocurrency mining bots on our PCs. It does seem like this would be more profitable than simple advertisement revenues.
If anyone has had further experience with PlayVIG than me, plz let us know what you think.
I've tried it a few days ago, and mining it ever since :) It's not worth it compared to an actual job and buying more packs, of course, but if you would farm the daily gold anyway, then why not do it with this running in the background and almost triple the efficiency? Received around 13 USD on my paypal so far so hey...
The 15 sec ads are not very disruptive either, imho.
Edit: as for the cryptocurrency mining, I've just checked and my processors don't do shit while it's running, nor did it install anything as far as I noticed... But I'm not 100% sure, ofc.
I seriously think there is some cheating going on here
One people completed his 'win 10 games as fast as possible' in 26 minutes. How is that possible? I played aggro paladin, went 10-1 and still got 51 minutes.
Again, some other person completed his 'win with all 9 classes as fast as possible' thing in 1 minute and 49 seconds. WTF! Thats not even possible, its 12 seconds per win, all your opponents have to insta-concede. Some other person also completed this event in little over 8 minutes. This is just pure bullshit.
I don't think it mines cryptocurrrency or something like that, because my processors act completely normal when this program runs. But whole event thing is stupid as fuck. Safest bet is to play all those single player quests and winning coins quickly.
Also, I wonder if buying packs from this app is safe.
it wont give u packs. they just transfer u the money for the packs on ur paypal. but they use usd..so the 2 packs cost 2.99 euro...and they transfer u 2.99 usd..thats like 2.54 usd.but it still pretty good for a f2p.
also u can spend the money on whatever u want..u dont have to buy hs packs
It's actually pretty decent. I got 20 bucks in two weeks and the program keeps getting better. The downside is sometimes it's iffy and doesn't record your games all the time but mostly it works and winning 20 games gets you 2 bucks so, free money for me. I do live in a poor country tho where minimal wage is really low so your value of 2$ is probably not the same as mine.
I've been using it for a while now. I just run the high roller quest and I get about three bucks every couple of days from normal playing, but I'm also typically sitting in the rank 1-5 range. Sometimes it acts up, but it is in beta. Haven't seen anything effecting my processors, and I used to mine crypto and will say if it was mining, you would def know. It's not for sure. I do know that their in app currency does change value. Prices rose on packs, so now it costs a little over 3.1k per 2 packs where as it was under 3k last month. Still getting exactly 2.99 in my paypal every cash in though.
It's pure garbage. Don't install it you need to win 1000 ranked games just to get ~10$ and half of the time it won't count because playvig tends to magically lose connection and count your game as a loss

I've tried it for a few games and didn't notice anything odd about my hardware's performance. Everything worked just like it should.
If anybody thinks this is indeed a scam to mine cryptocurrencies, then proove it!
it's not scam but it's waste of time and effort you got to watch 15 sec every single time (lose/win) YOU GOT TO WATCH THE!! 15 sec .
I mean they got to but another rule insted of that man but for a F2P players it well be in awsome for them .
