So I've been playing for a little under two months now and like all new players I am seriously lacking in legendaries. The problem is I am also missing serveral key rares and epics both class-specific and neutral. Because I'm afraid of dusting and crafting regret, I've saved up 2500 dust. I guess my favorite class is Mage, but honestly I could find a deck for each class I love to play. So should I bite the bullet and craft Dr. Balanced or would it be smarter to pick a class/deck or two and craft some rares and epics? Like Keeper of the Grove, Ancient of Lore, and Force of Nature for Druid and Divine Favor, Muster for Battle, and Quartermaster for Paladin? Would love some advice!
I'd suggest crafting Dr. Boom. He's in almost every single deck. The class specific cards can (obviously) be used in a much lower number of decks, so you wouldn't benefit quite as much as you would from crafting Dr. Boom.
I actually think that people undervalue crafting epics. For the dust cost of one legendary, you could create four epics. This means you could craft two Ancients of War and two Ancients of Lore and immediately have a pretty solid Druid.
Doctor Boom is the best neutral legend and fits in pretty much every deck that isn't pure aggro. Crafting epics like Ancients of Lore, Shield Slam, etc. is very important too, but the best epics are class-specific, so you don't get as much value from them, in my opinion.

Boom is so key, even in mage decks like tempo mage (you said you like mage).

As everyone else suggested, go with Boom. He is just so good, and if they decide to nerf him, you get your 1600 dust back! :D gl

Yeah that's true LordPikachu, but DB is an extremely valuable card in any deck, and is one of those true game changers. The ancients however, are not.

Yeah, I agree with Boom. He's just necessary in every deck (which is almost annoying).
And if they decide to nerf him you can still get a refund (if he's crappy) and craft the other cards ;)
