yeah warlock i think is the toughest one, i like the suggestion of aethas for mage though, i didn't think of him
if i recall correctly, early on in hearthstone, there were images of tyrande whisperwind as a hero? would be interesting if she came back
Hamuul Runetotem will probably be Druid's new hero or another Orc / Tauren. Medivh will be Mage's. Garona Halforcen Rogue's. Nathanos Blightcaller will be Hunter's. Tyrande Whisperwind could be Priest's. Drek'Thar could be Shaman's.
i think if you don't like the idea of spending $10 on new hero skins, then just don't buy them! easy! you save your money and you get to stick it to blizzard!
but i digress, some predictions would be swell rather than this particular discourse

Sad that Muradin isn't warrior's new hero.
i was going to say medivh but is he even a mage? i thought he was more of a warlock, but i wouldn't care either way (and while we're at it, a karazhan expansion? ha)
VARIAN FOR WARRIOR also that would've been really good, that actually seems obvious? guess they didn't want to add more humans
How about some more "Villains" to battle with the "Heroes of Warcraft" (If you can indeed call Gul'dan a hero)
Mage: Kael'thas Sunstrider, Cho'gall, Medivh (the last two I suppose can also be warlocks) a "merely a setback" emote would probably sell to a lot of people.
Rogue: Garona Halforcen, Mathias Shaw, or even Maiev Shadowsong. If VanCleef wasn't a card I'd choose him.
I think nearly the same as you, at least I would like to see the same. But we are probably going to see Garona or Maiev instead of Shawn. Simply because they are females. Senjin would be awesome, the same as Kael Thas, I am hoping for it.
Well, it could be totally new heroes, which do not exist within Warcraft, yet. I remember that the devs said that they want that Hearthstone to influence the lore as well and not only ride on the lore. They made a first step with Goblin versus Gnomes. The Heroes could be another option.

goblins and gnomes are constantly at 'war' with their engineering though? (lore wise they have always had a rivalry, even at one point you could choose between goblin and gnome engineering in world of warcraft. how exactly do you feel gvg did this?
Hunter could be Vereesa, but wouldn't Tyrande be more ideal?
Tyrande is a Priest/Hunter hybrid so tbh I think she's in a bit of a weird place so far as being a hero goes. She leans more Priest though. Anyway, I think they'll be doing opposite faction heroes. So my thoughts:
Warrior - Magni (confirmed)
Hunter - Vereesa
Rogue - Garona
Paladin - Liadrin
Druid - Hamuul
Shaman - Nobundo
Mage - Kael'thas
Priest - Sen'jin
Warlock - Kanrethad
Some notes:
There's a common misconception that Valeera is Horde because she's a blood elf. She's actually neutral but leaning Alliance, as she's one of Varian Wrynn's best friends and IIRC Anduin's godmother.
Kanrethad is a minor warlock character overall but he appears in the important "Green Fire" quest chain for Warlocks only. He's pretty much the biggest serious Alliance Warlock character. Wilfred Fizzlebang (the original summoner of Jarraxus in WoW) is a candidate but he's a bit of a joke. Medivh isn't strictly a Warlock and I don't think it's right to give such a mythical character to one class.
If they intend to have a Sunwell/Tempest keep Adventure then they'll probably use Rommath or Aethas as the Mage hero instead of Kael'thas.

Hamuul Runetotem will probably be Druid's new hero or another Orc / Tauren.

Nathanos Blightcaller will be Hunter's.
Tyrande Whisperwind could be Priest's.
Drek'Thar could be Shaman's.

I think they'll try to released the opposite faction to what exists atm, so priest will be a horde, druid will be a horde etc...
honestly very disappointed that the warrior wasn't Varian :(
For example, the new paladin will 100% be Lady Liadrin anyone can quote me here.

Druid - Hamuul Runetotem
Mage - Kael'Thas Sunreaver
Warlock - Wilfred Fizzlebang
Shaman - Farseer Nobundo
Priest - Sen'Jin?
Paladin - Lady Liadrin
Rogue - Mathias Shaw?
Hunter - Alleria/Vereesa Windrunner
I'd buy that in a second. MARAAD IS LOVE, although... you know if you've played WoW...
i was going to say maraad, but i already had nobundo for shaman, and i wasn't 100% sold on if they'd do 2 draenei
but i'd love to see maraad with his huge ass hammer of the naaru!
also can't wait to see the new hero power animations, can't imagine what a new life tap would look like
Hunter could be Vereesa, but wouldn't Tyrande be more ideal?
On a quest to capture every zone in Azeroth into Hearthstone cards! Elwynn Forest, Redridge Mountains, Stranglethorn Vale and Northern Barrens!
tyrande was a priestess wasnt she? rather than a hunter

Druid: Fandral Staghelm, Hamuul Runetotem, Broll Bearmantle. I'd buy a sweet fiery druid portrait.
Shaman: Ner'zhul or Nobundo
Warlock: Tichondrius, Archimonde, KJ, Fizzlebang
Paladin: Maraad or Liadrin. honestly I find Liadrin to be rather underwhelming. Alexandros Mograine?
Hunter: Alleria or Vereesa would be good. I Like Shandris Feathermoon too. Hemet Nesingwary would've been better as a hero than his shitty card.
Priest: Sen'jin is cool. Tyrande would been a good choice as well.

Mage: Krasus, Rhonin, Kael'thas
Warlock: Medivh, Cho'gall, Meryl Felstorm, any Nathrezim or Eredar
Priest: Zabra Hexx, Tyrande
Hunter: Veressa, Shandris, Rokhan
Shaman: Akama, Rehgar
Druid: Broll, Hamuul, Fandral Staghelm
Rouge: Garona, Maiev, Wrathion (he is leader of Ravenholdt and wowwiki defines him as a rouge)
Paladin: Maraad, Alexandros Mograine, Liadrin
Pretty sure they want to fill horde/alliance roster for all heroes, Maghata Runetotem is horde, my bet is Nobundo
http://wowwiki.wikia.com/Farseer_Nobundo
given how little in the game actually reflects the horde/alliance duality, i wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't eventuate

I would not buy the warlock hero if it's fizzlebang, "master summoner".
I also highly doubt they would give warlocks tichondrius or KJ, that'd be way too cool and most would not buy their next warlock "skin".
I would have preferred Varian be the warrior hero but I guess they are choosing a different direction.

Some notes:
I want Arthas as the Lichking and Ilidan as heroes :(
By far my most fav heroes overall... good ol wc3 times...
