So I finally have the cards to make a decent control warrior deck. One of the only staples i don't have is Baron Geddon so I'm like fuck it I'll just drop Troggzor the Earthinator in there and see what happens. First game vs. Rogue: I drop Troggzor on a light board, maybe 2 other small minions....and my opponent has no fucking clue what to do, LOL! I could see him scrolling through his hand. I'm laughing my ass off assuming it's nothing but spells...bro concedes. Second game vs. Priest: similar result. The rope stars burning, opponent not knowing what the fuck to do. He ended up making some weak turn with some shitty minions.
I know Baron Geddon is way better vs. aggro, but doesn't control warr typically dominate vs. aggro? What do y'all think?
Just depends on what removal they have in hand. It would be a better play vs a Rogue but if the Priest had Shadow Word: Death hes no big deal, you just get a predictable drop instead of a random drop with say a Piloted Sky Golem (6 mana though vs 7)
i love troggzore, i fell for the hype when gvg came out so i made trogg and malorne, i regret malorne but troggzore OOOH man. thing is any removal happens after he summons, turning it into the worlds worst polymorph.i found he reks on any board where the available enemy minions are less than 6 damage OR if you have a taunt, so i ran him in taunt druid. he is wonderful
but people like dr. balance better since you can play him when you are losing OR when you are winning, but trogg is like kel'thuzad, if you play him while winning, you win then and there.

I've been running Troggzlol in my priest deck since GvG came out, occasionally in other decks too. It's something your opponent never expect and many times turns that 50/50 game to your advantage, sometimes winning the game for you alone if the opponent don't have good answer for it. When played properly it always at least consumes a lot of your opponents steam to eliminate.
The trick with Trog is that you have to drop him when the board is empty or else you have some control over it. What makes him HARD to use is his 7 mana. Most decks tend to be either going for the kill or still contesting the board at the point. Unlike Loat, if there's 6 attack worth of damage then he'll die, the spells still go off, and you're down in tempo.
That said I've found a lot of luck using him in Druid decks which can ramp him up. At turn 5, he tends to hold the board VERY well, and it's nice to have a 3/5 after seeing heavy removal go off.
it's just hard to put in him any other deck without leaving yourself too vulnerable.
I've never played him and rarely had him played against me. Against mage, priest, and rogue he's great, I imagine. But he's pretty weak vs Zoo, Druid, face Hunter, or heck...any deck that runs Dr Boom.
I tried him last season (in Ramp Druid) and had really good results too, mainly because there were a million of Rogues. I don't run him anymore because Zoo is a thing again.

It's not that bad if your Trog got SW:D'ed. Your opponent wasted a SW:D, which most Priest only run one these days and you gets a 3/5.
He is actually good legendary but he doesn't really give definite value when board is full or if he gets removed by shield slam etc. I still prefer Dr. Boom over him even boom gets nerfed.

Don't drink and draw.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.

Meta changes the moment you switch your deck.
