If anyone has been living under a rock and dont know, they are nerfing undertaker which is about damn time
I hope this makes a mark on All aggro decks in meta considering the fact that almost 99.9999999999999999999999% of aggro decks use undertaker and it is a card that snowballs way too hard.
I think this is the proper solution to halt the prevalence of aggro and Hunter. The Leeroy+Buzzard nerf was originally intended to achieve the same purpose. But Undertaker in truth, was the ringleader in early game pressure and the main culprit in how resilient Hunters were and giving aggro decks a great option for an explosive start overall. 'Tis a great day.
iv never rly liked him in zoo ... there r already enough good 1 drops and puting him there cause u have 4-6? DR minions would just not do it for me.
mby leaving him at 2hp will make him unplayable, cause pretty much everything will kill him, if he was like Mana Wyrm, that might be more ok ... we will see.
Meh, wasn't OP in the first place, unless you got the perfect hand, I.e Undertaker + Leper + Webspinner + Webspinner, Won't miss it cos I don't play Huntard or Zoo, but I never felt it was OP. Just one offs that made everyone hate it.
Considering how Undertaker decks structure their early game around UT+deathrattles, it's not too far-fetched to get UT+a few deathrattle if one hard mulligans properly.
Won't have much effect, you will still see plenty of hunter. I'll likely still run it, I mean you drop it on 1 most time so it has to survive with 2 health anyway. Sure they will be able to remove it but if I can smack them in face for 2 or 3 and then make them trade a minion, he did his job. As has been pointed out, unless you get a perfect hand it's quite rare it gets out of control and wins it for you - similar to druid pulling 2x Innervate.
I think it didn't need a nerfI never had a more the a hand full of games lost because of undertaker.I don't know why some player needed blizzard to hold ya hand when dealing with him instead of using the tools in game.
At worst they should have made it a 1/1 that grew +1/+1. Way to much overreacting... but I guess when there are to many whiners complaining about it, they had to do something.
This card was super OP i dont see how some of u guys dont realise that, a lot of times Undertaker was having to be removed with a fireball, hex or a sap even. That gained a huge tempo swing in favour of the hunter and made it very hard to come back.
It wasn't too bad if u had a 2 mana removal spell for it or silence but a lot of times people didn't have this and the Undertaker would cause insane amounts of dmg if not removed early on.

Even if you didn't have to use hard removal, having to coin out a 2 mana removal to kill a 1 mana card is kind of ridiculous - especially when they are free to spend their mana next turn (they keep initiative so you always have to respond to threats). Now that it only gains attack, you won't always have to coin out removal and can play a better curve most of the time without suffering so much.

Ye it had to be removed like u said, u were not able to play to your curve and had to instantly go out of your way too get rid of a 1 mana card was just insane.
shame....well it will be just a matter of time before people start complaining about another card....oh wait...Dr. Boom
Not really, considering most Midranged/Control decks all run 1 BGH its not like Dr Boom is a cancer filled Cards. Plus you cant compare a 1 dropp to a 7 drop
Why does everyone act like the world is about to end when Blizzard makes a change like this? Sure some people hate it, others like it. If changing one card brings about and end of an deck or the end of an era for certain types of decks (which I don't think is the case here, despite some reactions to the contrary), that says to me that deck was pretty gimmicky to begin with.
So, decks will change. Some of my own decks will change. Big deal. People will figure out how to build more effective decks post-nerf - with or without Undertaker, and we all adjust accordingly.

People are already complaining about Dr Boom for a long time already... Since all whiners will eventually be heard i guess he will be the next in line. Or maybe Mechwarper if everyone switch to Mech decks and it became a thing.
Not necessary IMO, there was a lot of ways to get rid of him. He was strong but that's all. No matter what they do people will still complain about Hunter. Zoo will be hurt as well as collateral damage and game will get more mid range / control.
Probably less people that never made it to Legend will now make it since Control decks are more Dust expensive and takes longer time to play at each game.

Let me know what you all think!
Hearthstone is a game of "copy and pasting"
Deathrattle priest = dead
Hunter = will adapt with including more traps, maybe arcane goleme but wont get any less annoying and burst-y
Zoo = hurts.
Mage echo decks = eh, works without Undertaker
I don't see a reason to play Undertaker anymore. Cogmaster is straight up better so probably Mech will be the new thing.

Well im okay with those decks getting hit because I hate Zoo with a passion lol.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
This nerf should have happened a long time ago. Blizz need to realise when something is out right OP much quicker.

There's an official post about this on the front page, I think just about everyone on this site knows :P
Just saying.
This is statement is false.

Thank god for the nerf.
And all of you who don't think Undertaker was broken are literally crazy.
Anyone wanna bet?
1. rapid increase of Mech decks (mainly mech mage)
2. arcane golem both in Zoo and Hunter
3. double power overwhelming in Zoo
4. nobody is going to play DR priest
5. aggro will get more burst-y
6. 2 days after the patch hunter will have figured out how to roll without undertaker and people will still cry.

Which it should be, the card doesn't just catch you up if your behind, it literally wins the game for you.
I can't hardly find a game anymore where my opponents down half health, no board presence, and a near empty hand.
Then here comes boom to wipe my board, bring me to half life, and create a board presence for my opponent.
"I'LL FIX YOU!!!"
