What if there was an option where you could select one class that you would not be paired with in Ranked games. You could not select the class you are playing. How beautiful would it be if the Hunters just faced each other? :)

The thing is, hunters wouldn't face each other. People would build decks specifically to counter hunter, and they would ban Warrior or something. Since everyone else bans hunter, they would be paired almost exclusively with hunter, until hunter died off completely and some other deck took its place as most banned.
Meanwhile, everyone who did ban hunter would be playing Handlock or against Handlock nearly exclusively.
Is a face aggro meta ideal? No. Is this solution better? Not by a long shot.
If this system is in place, and say you are playing Warlock, all your opponents will mop the floor with you because those who have bad match up with Warlock would have filtered out Warlock when they search for opponents. So the decks that you will be facing would be those that has very good chance of beating you.

So each player banning a single class would put everyone at a disadvantage. That's very remarkable.
The upside is of course that you don't have to play the class that you are weakest against.
And btw I would definitely ban priests. Being punished for simply playing a card is just no fun at all.
there's no upside when you consider the all the games that you are getting. The only reason you beat your last opponent is because he couldn't ban your class. Imagine a system where he could, you would win much much less games.
Not sure how easy or feasible it is but I have a idea for MAYBE improve the HS experience ....
WHAT IF: Instead of banning a class, the matching system would prioritize mirror matches ? for example try to make it 2 mirrors for each other ramdom class you face.
Pros: You would be able measure yourself / deck against the same class as it would occur more often than not, so lots of hunters and mages, instead of "easy wins" they will have to show more skill / rng blessings ;) with out locking any class, so would still be able to face different classes
Cons: you would see less cross class matches and if you are adopter of the "deck of the week" you probabbly will only see other " deck of the week" players ...

If you took this suggestion seriously then you are doing it wrong.
Is this Sahgos guy in charge of threadmaking now? As for the question, hard to say. Hunter's are troublesome, but can be dealt with, my win rate is probably lowest against warlocks because of handlocks, but priest is definitely the most upsetting.

What if you could search before making a new thread? People make a new class ban thread every week.
Hint: it's a really bad idea. Both your idea and not searching.
even if it sounds sexy, it wouldn't be a good idea for reasons stated above
IF I could choose a class it would be warlock. Kill two birds with 1 stone right? Handlock and zoo bye bye
Time is precious. Waste it wisely. Legend Seasons: 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17
Current deck: Not playing much anymore
Highest rank: legend rank 9 Highest finish: legend rank 103 Infinite Arena Player
Let me put it in the simplest way possible.
