I am looking at buying a tablet soon but there are so many choices. I am curious about all you tablet players, what do you use and how well does HearthStone preform on them?
Currently I am looking at getting the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, It's specs look great and currently Best Buy has it discounted for 100$ off for 199$.

I have a Windows 8 tablet with similar specifications--a slightly worse processor--to the one you mentioned. The desktop version of Hearthstone works very well on it and only lags during a few more flashy animations (Lightning Storm comes to mind). I wouldn't expect to see 60 FPS on your tablet, but playing Hearthstone should definitely be no problem.
Glad to hear it, thank you. Just want to be sure HS is is pretty stable, after looking up your devices I'm sure it should preform well. I think I'll be getting one here soon. I am wanting a really fast one so that I can play older PC games. The Nvidea Shield looks amazing, but for the unlocked version It's like 399$.

How do you like the Windows 8 on tablet, I'm considering Windows instead of Android since it can run games natively. Sadly though for equivalent specs the Windows 8 tablet costs 100-200 dollars more.

I have the pro 8.4 and it runs hs like a dream. It's definitely a great buy at $200. I bought mine on Black Friday for the same price and it's a deal. The screen is fantastic, the resolution is super high, and you can even run hearthstone and something else like the web browser in dual panel mode. you will not regret that as your purchase.

Thank you. I think my large purchase jitters have been cured =) That's the one I am probably going with then.

The Android version seems very well optimised. I can run it fine on my phone, Samsung Note 2, and dual task with a browser without any hiccups, better than my Ipad 2.
Don't worry about the "Working but slightly laggy or glitchy: (but you can always play all your games) " Most of the reported lag is only in the menu (same with PCs and Ipads) and some animation.
I have an iPad mini, and it's just fine. I do notice some long load times, but unlike other games, HS does really well when it does come up against resource problems. No stickiness on the controls or gameplay, just slowness loading.
My recommendation, I've found it best to go with Apple on the tablets because it seems like a lot of developers are still concerned mainly with performance on the iOS. Other tablets kind of get the shaft sometimes even with higher specs because the software just wasn't written very well for those platforms a lot of the time.
I've played hundreds of games on my iPad and never had an issue. My friend though has played it on his Surface and HS crashes often when there is a lot going on.
Nvidia shield runs it great. My tab s 8.4 had some lag issues but wasn't unplayable. That's been a complaint about the tab s for a while that it's not great for games.

Also, if your experienced with tablets and have a better suggestion feel free to leave it (300$ tops), thanks in advance.

I got a dell venue 7 for free when I bought my alienware laptop. It's a little laggy on the main menu but works fine in-game.

Works fine on my iPad Mini. Also works fine on my iPad 3, which is kind of long in the tooth, so I suspect any latest tablet will do for you.

i play on ipad mini and have never had so much as a hint of lag. Runs perfectly
The game was getting fairly laggy on my iPad 3 (the first gen with retina display), but I recently upgraded to the Air 2 and it's silky smooth.
That said, here's a review if you haven't pulled the trigger yet: http://www.engadget.com/2014/03/12/samsung-galaxy-tab-pro-8-4-review/
Feel free to add me if you play on NA! iMPose#1429

It runs great on the Air 2 which is without a doubt the best tablet out there right now (and I am using Android phones exlusively).
I play everyday. On my ipad4 with retina. Never have had any lag
Let me change your mind...

Agree. Bumpy but perfectly playable on the Nexus 7.

I have the samsung galaxy tab S, works great without lags

The Tab S has a different processor than the Tab Pro. The pro has a snapdragon 800 and no lag once you ditch the stock Samsung Touchwiz launcher.
