Natalie is good because she is a shadow caster and combos with other shadow casters, as well as being a faster version of Gul’dan. Anathema/Benediction are her third powers and flip after use. Anathema is an aoe shadow spell and if you haven’t used it yet her first shadow spell is much better. After you use anathema it becomes benediction and your heal spells become better. Benediction is an aoe heal that then flips to anathema. Natalie is a versatile caster that can do a lot, gruul on the other hand, he’s just bad all over. Nobody uses dragons and there are much better orc synergy choices.
1. Many higher ranking PVPers use fire comps. Gruul's Task 7 treasure gives party fire resistance
2. Natalie starts off with Anathema, so she has Shadow Beam buffed by default if you never touch Anathema. When you use Anathema, it changes to Benediction, and vise versa. Natalie's Task 7 treasure removed Anathema/Benediction's cooldown.

I just saw the data from Blizz that Gruul and Natalie are apparently really strong Mercs. Can someone who is good at this mode explain to me:
1. Why is Gruul good? I have him but he seems lackluster.
2. How does the Anetheron/Benediction thing work? I know the abilities say “if you have Anetheron”, but how do you get it?
