People are so funny in how they build up a prejudice against an entire group of people based on really Perry things. This thread has had some reasoned, well worded responses and some absolute messes that I imagine were written by a ten year old who struggles with words.
People build up an intense hatred for 'priest players'. So now it's hunter, priest, mage, rogue, demon hunter who are all terrible people, anti fun pay to win, brainless idiots. The irony that the people who can only muster this sort of response are generally describing themselves.
Both classes are pretty versatile and have been given archetypes and cards that require more thought than play the minion for tempo. They are quite fun classes whilst also pretty powerful. I've played mage decks extensively even if they have a low win rate, mainly because I'm not bothered about climbing, that just happens, but I am bothered about not feeling like I'm doing the same thing over and over again and aggressive decks or strong tempo decks just feel like that to me.
Because they don't require any brain power or imagination to play, and Actiblizz is more than happy to cater to pay-to-win face dipshits.
Because they can do shenanigans and people like playing 10 cards in a turn and feel cool, even if they lose in the end.
Same as Tickatus. Burning cards feels cool even if you have 20% winrate

I don't know... Are you totally sure, bro?

The basic set of mage and rogue its simply like 10 times better than the rest of the classes one
