We all know achievements are due to be hitting the game in late December according to the game map on 2020, however I would like to give my opinion and say what I think each criteria of achievement should be like:
1: They should be across EVERY game mode:
Hearthstone has multiple game mode's now from Tavern brawl ,single player mode and Battlegrounds. While most of the achievements would probs be focused around constructed playmode and your collections, I think gamemodes like Battlegrounds would benefit alot from having achievements and I think having ones like "Win with only Legendary minions" or " Win a game with full Health" Would be alot of fun. I hope they are able to live up to this as many people love playing different game modes apart from constructed.
2: They Should have different levels of difficulty:
There should be easy and harder achievement to get. Not much of a brainier, but I know blizzard do make some things much easier than most players feel comfortable with. They should have a range of achievements and ones which may be like a quest to get. It should spark different ways to play or collect things in order to get an achievement. They should not all just be as simple as "Own a copy of X card" or "Play X amount of games with X class" they should have really fun and interesting conditions like "Win a game with 1 health" or something crazy like that.
3: They should have rewards or feel LEGENDARY:
Achievements should feel legendary and amazing. The harder the achievement they should offer some kind of reward. It should not just be a thing you work hard to do, just to have it sit on your own private collection and gain dust (Literal dust). It should feel amazing to get an achievement and offer either a small amount of gold, pack or even a cosmetic to show you have achieved something amazing. This is not saying everything need huge rewards, but it should have something cool linked to getting one.
4: They should bring Life to single player mode:
Single player mode is probs one of the most neglected modes in Hearthstone. Yes, they update it every few months, but never revisit of celebrate amazing past adventures we have had. When was the last time you played knights of the frozen throne? Mine was probs back in 2018. When was the last time you defeated a monster in monster hunt? mine was probs over a year ago. Achievement could celebrate this amazing content and offer a chance to return to these older adventures to do achievements like "Defeat the Darkness in Dungeon Run" or "Play every treasure in Tombs of terrors". Just something to return and have fun while completing a quest in some of our older adventures.
These are just my opinions and wishlist for what achievements should be like. What do you think?
I think they should only have aesthetic rewards, but I think it would be cool to have something like that, specially if they manage to pull off some hard ones (hard=/=grinding).

It could be interesting. But IMO achievments should be different for the different game modes
