1. Demon Hunter is not only still playable, it's still really good. You just don't auto-win anymore. You're only happy if you have your wins handed to you?
2. If you knew that you could only afford to craft a few legendaries, why on EARTH would you craft them for a deck that you KNEW was going to be nerfed? Nothing stays Tier S forever. It gets nerfed. We all know this.
3. Did you honestly want them to just leave the metagame like that for two freakin' weeks? With how oppressive that Tempo deck was?
People... Just don't be dumb. Please.
I was going to reply to OP but this post says it all.
They got me for 3200, Kayn and Metamorphasis...ugh.
This really bothers me because they moved max rewards to legend, so now I have to do that grind every month, if they are going to constantly nerf stuff and not do their own play testing, then I wont be able to keep up.
Well... maybe just dont craft whole decks?
When you climb to legend, it is a lot easier with an optomized list.
Ok I get it! You wanted to take advantage of their mistake/conspiracy/stupidity ( just strike out what does not apply) to quickly climb the ladder with this clearly overpowered deck and didn't expect a quick reaction from Blizzard. Now you're upset and you probably don't care about all the players you would have driven nuts with this insanity... Sorry I cannot sympathize for that... You've done something you knew was pretty risky and it didn't pay off (at least the way you hoped)... Just get over it

lol, you guys love to blame players for blizzards incompetence. Too funny.
When the expansion released, you either craft the demon hunter deck or you pretty much don't win. 2 days later a nerf is pushed out that affects 2 rare cards that are dustable (the epic isn't dustable since it was given for free), and the legendaries you had to craft to play this deck are now worthless.
The change could've at least been announced to be a few weeks from now so you could at least have a chance to actually use the deck you just crafted.
When a nerf is done this fast it leads me to believe that the changes were ready to go and they had planned it in advance, since there was basically no time to play test the nerf, and we weren't even given time for the meta to settle to see how things pan out.
The nerf were mostly done that fast because Blizzard has actually become scared off their erratic and toxic community. Blizzard "fans" are really the worst of any gaming community I have experienced in all my life (Fortunately, I don't play shooters lol).
Last year, Bliizard received much ridiculously overblown critique:
First, the "Bliztchung scandal". Let me make this clear, what Blizzard did was not nice, but it was right. There is a reason why politics stay out of sport events. Imagine a soccer player from a dictatorship uses an official event to criticize his governemnt, next day he dissappears, murdered. Wars could start over that! What Blitchung did was the most Anti-Sports thing any sportsmen had done in the past decade, and didn't just endanger himself, but also all gamers in China.
Next the Diablo mobile game: There are thousands of Diablo clones from questionable publishers with subpar graphics and lame gameplay, but an average score of 4.5 stars and comments like "great game". Granted, a mobile game was not what the Diablo fans expected, but who hates their publisher for announcing a game that they would otherwise play? Only Blizzard fans!
Then Warcraft 3: Reforged and granted, the criticism here is more justified. However even here you have criticism like "They didn't change anything in the campaign", when the original campaigns are already a masterpiece that shouldn't have been altered anyways.
Lastly, the Hearthstone community... I don't even have any words left to describe that. If people behave in real life like they behave here, then 90% of this board needs to get hospitalized for severe mental illness. And I am not trying to be funny here.

We both agree then this was pure incompetence from Blizzard to release the expansion as such! Ok we already got rid of the conspiracy theory... That's a relief.
I have no sympathy at all for Blizzard's way to handle the game and the last expansion is proving yet again their work is well below what players might expect (I won't make a list of the numerous bugs encountered since the last big patch) but yes, I do blame the players who are trying to abuse it to the detriment of their fellow players. Blizzard incompetence/stupidity/whatever is no excuse for doing that...
Players who crafted DH legendaries should still be able to get full refunds for a week, that is just good business. When a company makes a mistake they should try to make it up to the people that were harmed. This blaming the player for crafting and talking shit to them is pretty weird.
The conspiracy theory lives. Getting players to waste resources so they have to buy packs is a tried and true blizzard method. Why do you think they unnerfed Raza?
I still cant understand why they doing mana nerfs . In most of the time mana nerfs killing cards . Dh is now is lost so much tempo . I mean nerf it but dont change mana cost .
I can't believe what my eyes just saw right now. You are saying that everybody knew what cards were too OP (which I agree, I mean, even the blind and deaf knew they were too good like skull, imprisoned antaen, priestess, lifesteal weapon, if not even more of them) so because of that fact everyone should know that those cards are going to be nerfed. AND especially very very soon as we saw with Galakrond Shaman last expansion (the first nerf was really soon). Anyway, you and people like you still crafted decks and wasted dust with the fact that some of the OP cards are going to be nerfed and now when they are nerfed you start to complain. REALLY?? Haven't you learned the mistake from last expansion when I mentioned above about Galakrond Shaman? I am not attacking nor defending Blizzard, I'm just saying that you should have learned from previous experiences and think twice about crafting anything first week of the expansion. Like many have said before me, the wasted dust (which I don't think it was wasted since those DH cards are still playable and good) was on you, not on Blizzard and on anybody else. I love these kind of posts because I can see both sides and a reminder that people are always unsatisfied beings and like to point fingers when something doesn't go along their way.

If you craft any DH card its still playable.
"playable" doesn't justify being crafted. I also don't like demon hunter's playstyle and the only reason I crafted the deck was because you needed to if you actually want to win, and did so thinking that i'd at least be able to play it for a couple weeks while the meta shakes out. So yeah, it feels like a pretty big bait and switch when it's nerfed < 24 hours after being crafted and the refund doesn't include the legendaries required for the top decks.
And maybe you're a scrub who plays incomplete decks, but people who actually want to play at legend (which is incredibly easy to get to now anyhow) and win don't play budget versions of decks
If you crafted a bunch of shit in the first 24 hours without waiting to see if it would actually be good, that's on you.
DH's winrate was already dropping by ~4% a day before the nerfs hit anyway.
You did not need to craft DH to win unless you're garbage, I was 8-1 against them with Highlander Mage before the nerf.
And if you can't figure out how to make subsitutions in a deck and just netdeck everything then honestly you shouldn't be spending money on this game. Legend is still less than 1% of players and is unnecessary to play, if you want to tryhard your way up on day 1 then accept the consequences of rushing shit.
People crafted this stuff because it WAS good, there was no need to wait and see if it's going to be good. Never before has there been a surprise nerf 2 days after an expansion was released. I have crafted stuff at the start of the expansion before that turned out to be garbage a week later. I didn't complain then because that's 100% my choice. This is worthy of a complaint since this is basically a bait and switch. I was sold on a deck that was extremely strong, and it got 4 nerfs less than 24 hours after I crafted it. The normal dust refund policy is reasonable because even though you don't get refunded for all the cards you crafted to play the deck, you got to use the deck for weeks/months. In this case it's not reasonable since 2 of the 4 cards targeted for nerfs aren't dustable, the other 2 are only rare and not worth much, and we had almost no opportunity to actually play the deck we crafted before it got nerfed.
I also find it hard to believe you're 8-1 unless you're at the bottom feeder ranks. Are you even legend yet? It's easier than ever now to get to legend since the new ranking system (the ranks already go down to 6000+ in NA). If you're not then your stats don't mean anything since you're not playing against anyone remotely competitive.
Dude, you willingly crafted 2 legendaries, for a broken deck you knew was going to get nerfed, and you're trying to act like you got swindled. The onus is on you. Don't abuse broken mechanics and then cry when they're rightfully nerfed.

metamorphasis needs some cool sound, a legendary without sound is lame
