Hearthpwn said thats the new paladin legend card is the final card shown. This proves that they will release all the cards and the expansion come soon.
On another note, I guess this reveal disproves the uncofirmed confirmed December 3 release thread since the card doesn't affect the board (as it was predicted).
Then I misunderstood, sorry. But after Bolvar, I don't get my hopes up too high, that we'll get a release date
NP. I think it's pretty clear from the tweet, that they will be either A) doing a card dump on the rest of cards. Or B) announcing release date. OR, more likely, both.
If i'm being optimistic, it will be 2nd or 3rd, if i'm realistic, a 9th release date sounds very feasible
Why release new cards a week after the ranked season starts?
because it will allow hype to build, along with teasing us with a couple of cards, i think the could hype it a little more, it allows them a week to iron out any kinks before live release, from a design standpoint it might be better to hold for a week, and remember it is only a week into the season, naxx was released the last week of the season, i think a mid December would make less sense than a 9th release
Naxx was released at the end of the season because the cards are unlocked through single player campaign anyways, and the wings had to be completed in order. This is a straight +120 cards in the game, there's no need to unlock them.
Well that makes the December 3rd hype look 99% likely to be wrong, then. Not impossible. But very very implausible.
Actually, I would argue that it makes it even more likely to be Dec 3rd! Saying that they're just going to announce it before they release it is so ambivalent. And with the way this reveal has been going, it just seems that they want to spring on us like any good Goblin attack... Fast and unpredictable!!
Didn't they say they'd announce all cards before release? So unless they're cheeky little 3-year-olds who plan to dump all the rest of the cards <36 hours before it goes live with a gleeful "tehehehe see we announced all the cards before release!" I think we've gotta have at least another week. I just don't see dozens of cards being revealed, then an "official" release date, then a release all in the next two days.
Furthermore, even though they're separate teams you have to consider that WoW raiding goes live this week. That may not matter much in terms of designing and testing, but you have to figure they'd take it into account when releasing and updating. I suppose it's possible that they'd just get all the patches, micro-patches, hotfixes and resets done at once, but it seems more likely to me that they'd get one on solid ground before the other so Battle.net isn't a complete wreck for the rest of the week.
Yes. Get some sleep, because they'll dump it tomorrow, same time they upload the data to the servers with the 8 hour maintenance day. So people won't datamine the cards and find them out secondhand.
And they still have a full day to release it, on the 3rd of Dec. Yay.
What annoys me about Blizzard is no other card game makes you guess the release date of an expansion. If a new set comes out in Magic or Yugioh you know about it's release date months in advance. I understand it being a digital card game there comes more technical issues that could push back a release date, but if Blizzard can't get a release date down a month a head of time, then there is something incredibly wrong.

You thought there would be something inspirational here didn't you?
Rather than buying enough servers to manage release crunch, they may be aiming for a "soft-launch." It suddenly shows up midnight PST dec 3rd, then is officially announced around 8 AM PST that day when most people are at work. That should stagger when people get to first log in.

I had same thoughts from the tweet's last words, but hey, we're both probably just getting our hopes up lol, I hope it's legitimate news.
HUH?!?!?!?! FRONT PAGE?!?
Where on HP's front page, is there anything saying "More #GvG news will be coming soon"
I only quoted the beginning, re: the card, in order to show Ben's full quote.

It actually semi-confirmed (to me) that it'll indeed be Dec. 3.
Zeriyah is being very coy in his response. Especially coming on the heels of the earlier comment: "We will be posting some more news soon"
News: Release date. And Zeriyah is telling the truth, in a very roundabout way.

would be really surprised if they released it tomorrow without giving a proper hype-up on the release date. it sounds like at least 1 week away.
