Control warrior might be good but people will find ways to beat it soon enough
People already are countering control warrior. At least when I am playing early in the morning where I'm at (6 am EST)...I find the group of players at that time already moved on to whatever is going to be hot after the nerfs.
Just to name a few decks that have beaten my control warrior within the past morning (I mean, it's afternoon right now but earlier today this is what I faced):
Tess Rogue, Zuzu Hunter, Murloc Paladin
Tess Rogue is garbage. And I can't think of another deck that is more capable of fending off Murloc Paladin than CW. Seriously, your whole deck is removal, you have like 7 AOE's. It's not exactly Rocket Science.
Tess rogue isn't garbage when piloted by players who know how to set her up. I think you're dismissing it really quick. I wouldn't say it's Top tier, but I also wouldn't say it's garbage.
Murloc paladin can spiral out of control pretty quickly if I don't have my warpaths or brawl early on.
Just for laughs, tell me how Tess Rogue deals with Murloc Paladin. Because "the game can spiral out of control pretty quickly if Rogue doesn't have it's AOE's", and Rogue doesn't have ANY AOE's.
I never said Tess rogue can deal with murloc paladin? Where are you getting that from? I was responding to you talking about Tess rogue and murloc paladin against control warrior.
Everything I've been talking about is referring to facing control warrior.

Unless you're trying to imply that a good deck in general has to have lots of AoE's, to be able to stand a chance against the shifting aggro-heavy meta now, in which case, yea... it does kinda have to have that. Not one deck is good against all types, you play the one that has the highest favourability in terms of win rate against what you think is the dominant meta at the time.
But I thought you knew this already?

I thought the same but guess who got equality and consec out of his rng drops and guess who ran 2 copies of Fan of Knives....there you have your laughs.

Edit: Looking at VS reports, indicates Control Warrior is slightly favourable over Tess rogue and muloc paladin, so maybe I just had bad luck with my mulligan. I was on a win streak last night, and those two decks ended it for me, so maybe my bias is getting in the way of the data.
Having said that, the second deck I mentioned, Zul'jin hunter, does dominate against control warrior and I have been seeing that the most!
Quest paladin, I haven't been seeing a lot of surprisingly... I may switch back to my quest paladin today.
As a rogue player i tried every standard rogue decks. Quest rogue is one of the weakest quest. Warrior can clean almost everything and it doesn't have the tempo tools to beat mages. However if you add one scheme to the deck, it becomes almost a 100% winrate against warriors, they can't beat 10 tess. I find the highlander version stronger than the normal quest rogue because you can add all the good rogue cards (togwaggle/ pirate package with hooktusk / zephrys). The deck struggles a lot vs aggressive decks. You need to complete the quest quickly then have blade furries. Some games are often lost because you draw your blades before any thieves minions so they stay useless in your hand.

Were you the rogue that killed me this morning? Literally she only ran ONE toggwaggle's scheme and that's exactly how it ended lol She made 6 copies of tess, I conceded.

Haha not me but with the scheme, its an auto concede from warriors. With the highlander version, you can cast tirion with your zephrys, shadowstep him, and cast mind control the next turn making your 10 tess ultra broken. But if you want to have fun, quest rogue is one of the best decks to play, every game is different and some can become really crazy. J_alexander managed to reach high legend with it, he's very good. It's playable, but if you want a deck with a high winrate, don't craft it. It's very bad vs aggro, worst than mage.
